“The Beauty & The Undead: Cornered by death, monstrous creatures, and a perverted old man.” - Such was the fate of Katherine Warren, daughter of Mayor Michael Warren, a young woman who despite struggling and surviving for as long as she did, especially considering how the young lady had no prior training in self-defense or in the use of weapons, suffered a fate far worse than death....👰🏼💔 It would have been VERY disappointing and unacceptable, personally speaking, had #Capcom finished the final product that was the #RE2Remake without adding an actual in-depth BACKSTORY to Katherine Warren, no matter how big or small, and allowing the players to experience firsthand what happened to the Mayor’s daughter from HER point-of-view, which thankfully was the case as #Capcom did exactly what yours truly hoped they would in one of the game’s 3 DLCs (downloadable contents), “Runaway”. 😃 Obviously the DLC itself isn’t canon, but the fact that #Capcom took the time to produce a storyline in the DLC #Runaway that portrays Katherine Warren as a determined and gutsy survivor, instead of an unfortunate victim with little to no backstory, definitely puts a BIG SMILE on the face yours truly, oh yeah! 😁👊🏻 It was already awesome that Ms.Warren got to shine in her own, non-canon related tale, but to witness her and Ben Bertolucci, a fellow survivor and her lover, escape together from Raccoon City and the nightmare they endured was most satisfying! 😄 It’s funny how both were unfortunate victims in the canon storyline, more so was Mr.Bertolucci, but in the DLCs themselves, they’ve shown they can more than hold their own, without the aid of Claire Redfield or Leon S.
