i believe everyone should have access to research and that most people benefit from doing research regardless of their intended career path but
holy shit i hate when premeds who aren’t even interested in the lab apply to get a shiny research position on their resume
#this girl i know from freshman year was the one applying#ugh and i feel real bad for resenting her#but at least read about what the lab DOES before sending an email good LORD#and her email said that she took ALL of the chem courses at berkeley but im like honey you're a bio major#that is a bold statement#i know its rubbing me the wrong way because this is my dream lab and i worked hard to get here and she didnt#LMAO thanks for coming to my TED talk#delete later#do not mean to shame all premeds btw
