audio-tactile synesthesia is loving the sound of a song but not loving that it makes your whole body freeze up?!?! (to be honest maybe it's not exactly 'tactile' alone - i guess maybe tactile-kinesthetic since it can be like texture, temperature, bodily movement/position… but easier to just say tactile.)

so like i have shutdowns from overload where i can't move, my brain just rejects any attempt until it's cleaned up the neural mess, right? well i found a song that does that to me, just because it can. no overload in sight, only this song.

Here's a fun piece of history about telephone poles that made me laugh (and mentions a town near me):

By 1889, the New York Times was reporting a "War on Telephone Poles." Wherever telephone companies were erecting poles, home owners and business owners were sawing them down or defending their sidewalks with rifles.

Property owners in Red Bank, New Jersey, threatened to tar and feather the workers putting up telephone poles. A judge granted a group of home owners an injunction to prevent the telephone company from erecting any new poles. Another judge found that a man who had cut down a pole because it was "obnoxious" was not guilty of malicious mischief.

The fact that I consider reading about telephone poles fun is why I'm single isn't it?
