I've been researching a criminal case that occurred in a hospital years ago. The 2 main sources I have are from people who directly worked with/interviewed the killer. But there are discrepancies between them. There are a couple other main sources which have more discrepancies.
I am so angry about this.
So angry that I contacted the police department in the place where this occurred to request access to the official documents. Because I'm pissed.
They were kind enough to grant the request as it's a closed case. This also included part of the original confession.

At least I understand where some of the discrepancies come from now - it was from misspellings during the confession.
#why did I do this to myself?#I'm going insane#like one discrepancy is him talking about a victim#in the books this was someone who came on to him when he was 18 and they had an off and on 15 year relationship#in the police report he met him at his place of work and decided to cheat on his partner with him a couple times#then poisoned him with arsenic#????????????#that is such a difference#don't get me started on the box of rat poison#AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH#and then there's the other poison that was used and questions regarding that and me trying to figure out the logistics#because that didn't make sense either
