Peter never imagined he'd be standing on a roof with a known mercenary. He also never imagined he'd be willing to call that mercenary a friend, but here he was.

If you were to tell him three years ago, that he'd meet Wade and literally fall head over feet for the guy, he'd probably knock your teeth in. 

But that's what happened though, four hours ago actually. 

Peter was dodging a bullet, mid flip from a 5 story building. He saw the thugs partner come up behind Wade with one of the swords he'd dropped ready to swing. Peter turned the best he could in a split second, webbing Wade's arm to pull him away. 

Peter crashed onto the ground hard, landing on his shoulder and taking a bullet to the calf. It wasn't nearly as graceful as you would think, and the loud crack of his ribs echoed in the alleyway. 

Even with probably several bones broken, he still stopped Wade from ripping the guy's head off. 

They dropped them off at the police station, and made their way to Wade's apartment. 

They sat on the roof, Peter's leg and ribs taken care off, he held an ice pack on his shoulder, eating take out with his other hand. He didn't get hurt a lot, normally just scrapes and bruises, but when he did, Wade insisted on bandaging or stitching him up. 

It was sweet to have Wade care so much. How he handled him like he was fragile, after brutally beating criminals to an inch of their lives. The way he went from Deadpool, to Wade Wilson around Peter, almost like he was softening. It was all so. . .

In no time they were laughing, talking about anything and everything. The last two years being friends had reminded them both what it was like to have a family. They were each other's family at this point, no parents or siblings, no aunts or uncles. They just had each other, and that's all they needed.

Ride or dies to the end.

yeaaaaaah he's definitely not given them a reason to trust him on that. scrapbook max isn't very good at the whole self preservation thing, and the medical department got tired of having to haul him back from total devastation, so the suit has built in sensors. (it also has a built in sedatives.)
