i never, ever dream about my favorite historical figures (or any historical figure, really) but I guess my brain got influenced by a mix of Castor’s shitty book and the whole pimp daddy Boleyn trope because I just dreamed that Henry of Lancaster, disillusioned with Isabella and Mortimer’s regime, was trying to convince his son Henry of Grosmont to seduce Edward III to gain full control of the crown for their family or whatever (Grosmont was pretty much just like “but neither of us are into it, dad, what do you want me to tell you ):”)

I woke up and laid in bed for a good five minutes, going between “no, that didn’t happened, my brain made that up” and ‘well i mean, it was 14th century England, is it really the weirdest thing you read about?’ 

it turned out to be entirely made up but still, the confusion was real

So I was stepping out of the shower and then I noticed the soap was still on the counter and I had to stop and think “was I just monologuing for the past ten minutes?” Like aside from washing my face hair and teeth

So anyway I am clean now
