First thing first ; What does the file looks like ?
It’s a very “focused” song. More than Cursetheme, for exemple, that had a lot of lines (pistes) i concentrated on complexifying the ones i already had instead of piling them on top of another. I wanted something very different, a whole another ambiance.
Those are the computer generated sounds and the first half the second part of the mixing table.
About the song ;
- Idk why, but Their Wings is for me profundly tied with Monster by Meg&Dia ? It’s very strange but that’s the first music i think about when i read it. So i wanted to keep that and i introduced the melody as a wink ! It does the intro, principally, and is part of the harp. (It’s the MERCY-MSTR & the Piano - MSTR lines)
- There’s a oboe line that i suppressed XD i actually have two versions, one with one without, and i made the video without. Both are disponible on my soundcloud.
- Everything Yellow is piano, everything Blue is Harp.
- I wanted a sad, simple, melancholic and DISSONANT atmosphere. It was important.
- I name my lines for a reasons. For me, music tell a story. Idl if people are still reading so i won’t go in depth about it, but yeah XD
