Quick thought on the sudden rise in therian talk in news

So today I’ve seen posts on multiple platforms from those living in Latin America saying the news and social media is suddenly discussing therians a lot, in a very negative way.

Something I need y’all to know, based on my experience living as trans for 10 years and being a furry for several as well: DO NOT TALK TO THE MEDIA. You can speak to TRUSTED, preferably independent journalists. Previously center and liberal news media like CNN and the New York Times have taken a steep rightwing shift. Do not go on podcasts, do not talk to tv reporters, etc. It will put you in harms way. You will be taken out of context. They will attack you with premeditated questions to make you look bad, knowing you are not prepared to debate/justify your existence. I repeat,

DO NOT TALK TO THE MEDIA.

I completed that tail, very happy with is as it’s what I was looking for

it moves like a taxidermy tail which is what I was going for, I think I’m gonna be making one or two to sell as well since idk if I’ve seen a alternative to real fur tails like this and some beings might want the look and motion but not the real fur that comes with taxidermy tails

I unfortunately have come to the conclusion that no one will truly understand me in the way I want them to.

In the way I crave another wolf’s teeth on my nape, the intertwining of tails, brushing wingtips against one another’s, a gentle chuff as we bathe in the sunlight, paws outstretched, in the chase of a pack, butting shoulders together as we run.

I love the people in my life so dearly. But they will never understand me in the way I want them to. And honestly?

That aches. It tugs on my heart and my soul.

I’m not meant to be here in this way, and it shows.
