Okay, another prompt here! This one's USUK, though. So like, I'd like one where Alfred and Arthur have crushes on each other, are too embarrassed/prideful/stubborn to say it. They both talked to Kiku, and Kiku was tired of all the love talk, and decided to do something about it.

“So you see, Kiku… I just can’t help it, whenever I see his face, I can’t stop staring and he’ll never fail to ask me about it and then well….” Alfred twiddled his thumbs nervously.“…you insult his eyebrows instead?” Alfred’s face flushed bright red and he covered his face with his palms immediately before muttering “…y-yes”

Kiku sighed. He wonders just how and why did he get himself involved in this in the first place. He remembers that Arthur had confided in him some days ago as well. He bit his lip as he remembered what went on that day.

“Kiku, do you think that Alfred really really hates me after all?”That day was a rainy day, with a probably no… definitely drunk Arthur slumped all over the table in tears.“No, I don’t think so?” Kiku replied as he slowly pushes a bottle of ale far out of Arthur’s reach.“But he keeps staring at me, and when I confront him, all he does is say how my eyebrows look like caterpillars… where have I gone wrong this time” Arthur tried to reach for the bottle but failed to do so, tears streaming down his face.

Kiku sighs once again as he looks at the nervous Alfred in front of him now. He feels that this situation feels really familiar, like something out of a manga. Whereas Arthur and Alfred are the stubborn protagonists that actually do love each other. Tsundere? Probably yes.

“Alfred-san, do you actually love him?” Kiku asked. An obvious question, he knows. However, it’s a way for the other party to admit about an existence of a certain emotion.Just as predicted, Alfred’s face was all red as he turned away from Kiku immediately, staring down at the ground.

“Yes… you’re right, Kiku…” shaking his head continuously, Alfred turned his head back up towards Kiku, grabbing Kiku’s hands with his face flushed bright red. “YES…. I-I’m in love with… ARTHUR KIRKLAND!!! I-It’s not like I can help it OKAY??!!”

“…A-Alfred?”

At this point, Alfred froze up immediately as he recognised a voice that doesn’t belong to Kiku. That voice belonged to someone he knows too well, someone he holds feelings for, someone he definitely never expected to show up here.

Letting go of Kiku’s hands, Alfred turned around slowly to face the person behind him. That person with the messy blond hair, forest green eyes, and huge caterpillar eyebrows. The person he could never face honestly.“…I-If that’s true then…” Arthur muttered, blushing deeply, looking away a little “I wouldn’t mind giving us a try… I guess…”

Alfred’s eyes lit up immediately after hearing that.

Arthur never expected a hug so big to be sent crashing towards the ground.

Kiku smiled, the weight on his shoulders finally lifted.
