dottie probably. she started out as a squidsona but even after i made her into her own character she ended up a character ive projected some personal stuff onto (sorry bby!!) so naturally she’s become very special to me.

in my opinion...I don't mind your venting, but I feel like you should post more things that make you happy rather than upset! try focusing on the positive too

I think I’m just better at coming up with things to say when I’m criticizing for some reason. It’s not that there aren’t things in fiction, etc. that make me happy, it’s just that I guess... I just go “Yup, this is a good thing and makes me happy” and that’s that. I never have very much to say.

Or maybe it’s just that I don’t feel like I need to say anything because happiness doesn’t often overwhelm me the way negative thoughts do.

Or because a lot of positive stuff I have to say about media has already been said by other fans and I just feel like I’m parroting them? I dunno.

Or when it hasn’t already been said, I wind up getting frustrated that the thing/character that makes me happy is so underappreciated instead of actually writing about my appreciation of it which gives the whole thing a negative undertone.

I sometimes draw positive thoughts in the form of fanart and stuff as well.

Regardless, thanks for the heads up, you’ve definitely given me some insight and I’ll try to generally be more positive.

BIG SHRUG, I probably won’t. The longer I stay away from art the less I like it, and already anything wobble-associated gives me baaaaad vibes so it’s only downhill from here.

16. 10 best animes you have watched

This question always gets me, but here are 10 series that I really, truly love and think are exemplary:

Cowboy Bebop, Wolf’s Rain, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Dennou Coil, Mushishi, Natsume Yuujinchou, Chihayafuru, Honey & Clover, Shinsekai Yori, and...ugh, I’m so torn on the 10th one! Gankutsuou? Gunbuster? I dunno, there are several vying for that spot.

I’d have to list movies separately because it’s hard to judge them the same as series. It would probably be something like: Millennium Actress, Wolf Children, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, Tokyo Godfathers, Summer Wars, Whisper of the Heart, and if I can include series tie-in movies, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: Lagann-hen and The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya.
