Mike, you're such a great person i'm glad i had the pleasure of meeting you (even if it's not in real life) I can't thank you enough for always being there for me and letting me vent. You really helped me. I know great things are in your future and you deserve the very best! I know you said you're not going to drop off the face of the earth but I still wanted to give my goodbyes before its too late. :) Enjoy life on the outside! :P

How tall is Adelaide? I'm curious now, since Scott is 5'5" haha

I looked through my notes and can’t seem to say where I’ve written it down, but I suspect Adelaide is about 5′6″-5′7″, maybe even 5′8″, and would constantly rib Scott about it!

You know I am looking through all my other posts and I never talked about his name! It’s Scott Milligan, a name from a recycled character I scraped before.

2. HeightScott is about 5′ 5″. Shortness is actually a positive thing for fighter pilots, since the cockpit of the WWII-era planes were very tight, and it means they can move around better. Taller pilots had trouble bailing out and performing more high-maneuver techniques.

20. Day or night and whyNightime is much calmer as he doesn’t normally fly any sorties (missions). But it’s also when the Japanese fighter-bombers like to make their attack runs. At least in the daytime you can see your targets better, it’s chaos at night.

29. Do you believe in true loveScott met Adelaide when he was stationed at the base after USAAF training. He certainly felt something for her, and quickly tried to make the most of it before he was sent off to the Pacific. He feels fated to have met her.

36. What would you tell your younger selfDon’t become a fighter pilot. The barracks may be nicer, but there’s nowhere else to go when your engine is on fire and you’re spinning out of control towards terra firma. Stay on the ground kid.

50. Who would you save- yourself or a stranger?It’s a question that could really depend on the situation, but as a soldier in the United States armed forces, there is somewhat of an unspoken creed that he can be tasked with giving up his life to save another. Camaraderie in the military relies on knowing that you can trust the buddy next to you to do the same.

Some may say this leads to his demise…

56. What do you hate about [war]How it takes good men from both sides and forces them them to kill and maim each-other at the behest of their leaders. Causes vary for sure, but deep down you’re taking another man’s life to better your own. Thankfully, he doesn’t have to stare down the barrel of a gun or tip of a knife. Aerial combat makes it a little less personal and easier to cope with.

He also was taken away from his family, his home, and Adelaide.

Vidia, Pixie Hollow, and Pixie Dust

Vidia: Do you like fast and big rides?It’s kinda sad, but I really don’t like roller coasters. I might be able get turned around on them in the future. But I do love spinning rides, and any and all rides involving water. I went on EVERY ride at Water Country.

Pixie Hollow: Which fictional world, Disney or non-Disney, would you like to live in?Oh my goodness STAR WARS! Star Wars all day! And night! I’d blast around on my ship fighting the Empire and fist-bumping Luke Skywalker and mentioning on the sly he probably shouldn’t kiss Leia anymore and explore all sorts of planets with Han and Chewie.

Pixie Dust: What would your fairy talent be?I don’t know what sort of talents the fairies in the movies have, but I have a good sense of direction so maybe I could never get lost? Or maybe I was super knowledgeable in the ancient faerie lore because of my love of history.
