"Bird? Is that you? Where is Bear? Long time no see you two!"
"I'm still lookin' for Banjo, I just don't know where he went!", she opens her wings a bit, then lets a chuckle,"And no, there hasn't been any sight of Gruntilda either, which is good."
"Really?" Sora took on a contemplative look, humming softly under his breath. "Hmm. Well, he'll show up sooner or later! Friends are never gone for long. Maybe he's just out and exploring or somethin'." Maybe, but from what Kazooie had told Sora about Banjo, he wasn't exactly the type of bear to get up and go out of nowhere. "But that's good that there's been no problems with Gruntilda! So your world's doing okay then?"
"I've been around, sorry to have disappeared on ya," she makes a cooing sound, then jumps from him shoulders onto the ground in front of him. She ruffles her feathers a bit, then looks up to him,"So, ya doin' alright there?"
"Yeah? It's cool! I get it. I like traveling too." Sora smiled, his body swaying and shifting a little as Kazooie jumped from his shoulders and to the ground. "Me? Yeah! I'm doing great!" Sora flashed Kazooie a thumbs up, grinning. "Never been better."
"How about you? How's that Banjo guy been doing? No - what's that hag's name again? Grunhilda? None'a her around lately?"
There was a flutter of feathers, then two large yellow feet on his shoulders. Her head tilted forward so she could look at him upside down, "Hey there, Spiky!"
Sora's eyes went up to the sky when he heard feathers rustling, and saw two bird feet land on his shoulders before Kazooie's head came craning down in front of his face. "Kazooie!" Sora exclaimed, out of surprise and delight. "Hey there! It's been a while, huh?" He reached up a hand to stroke lightly at the feathers on the side of her face with the back of his fingers. "How've you been doin'?"
In Search of Magic
Gloop came to a stop on reaching both the end of the pipe and the entrance to Treasure Trove Cove – it didn’t hurt to be too careful! He grasped the pipe’s rim with tentative fins and poked his head out, looking around for a certain pair of jaws attached to a certain snack-loving shark. Satisfied that the coast was clear (at least for now), the fish set out for home, keeping to the shallows by the Cove’s sandy shores.
He sighed.
He might’ve been outside, with nothing but brilliant blue sea and sky before him, but his thoughts were still back in the Cavern he’d just left behind. His friend had been especially restless today, and although Gloop usually did a pretty good job of cheering him up, it seemed like today was just going to be one of those days.
He wished he could help; there had to be something he could do, but after the last attempts, Clanker had made him promise...
Well. What he didn’t know couldn’t hurt him, right?
The chain was no ordinary one, Gloop was sure. If only he could get his fins on someone or something magical, then maybe...but he’d never seen anything like that around the Cove. And where would he even begin to look?
A flash of crimson caught his eye then and, looking up, he saw a familiar red-crested breegull nesting nearby! Gloop brightened at this.
“[Hey!]” He waved his fins to get her attention. “[I didn’t know I had a new neighbour, Kaz! What’s up?]”

Out of all the things Roxas had seen, he never though he'd see... a chicken? The red feathers indicated that it was of a species not native on Destiny Islands. The Nobody slowly approached the bird with caution, feeling a bit wary that it could attack him.
"Goooood, birdy...."
Her head pushed into his hand,"You're not that bad, Spiky." There was a flutter of wings, and she found herself planting a foot on either of his shoulders, standing over his head before settling down on top of it. "Adventuring is what I like best, I usually can't stand just sittin' around and doing nothing... Unlike Banjo, he never likes to leave the house!"
Letting out a laugh as Kazooie planted herself atop his head, feet perched on his shoulders, Sora quickly shifted into a better standing position where Kazooie had a less chance of falling off. “I get what you mean. It’s no fun staying in the same place, doing nothing all the time. Especially when there’s so many places to explore and people- or animals -“ Sora quickly added, grinning, ”- to meet.” Blinking at the mention of someone, Sora just barely stopped himself from lifting his head to look at Kazooie and possibly throw her off his head by accident. “Banjo…that’s your friend, right? The one with the backpack?” He asked.
She moved over to him, and pressed against his leg a bit. "Thanks," her head tilted up to look up at him, then gave a small cooing sound. "I tend to fit in small places, and I don't know how, but I do... So, I shouldn't be a problem."
Lifting a hand, Sora pressed his hand on the top of her head gently, stroking the feathers he found there. “Hey, no problem.” He told her, smiling warmly. It was nice having Kazooie around. She was pretty sassy, but in the fun way. “Yeah? That’s pretty cool! Still, I’m gonna try and find a bigger backpack just so you can be comfortable, kay?”
