I am a young artist [by that I mean I am still learning the basics]. so I was wondering if you had any tips for newer artist? but right now I can only do original art [not digital] Thanks.

As for advice for a beginning artist, I’d say that observation is your most important tool. Work from reference often, and try to utilize that reference to learn certain shapes with which to recreate objects, if you plan to work from memory.
But reference is so important! Also, if you see a piece of art you really like, do a master copy! This means to re-render it from scratch, and it’s super useful for learning techniques and how the original artist translated their idea to a 2D space.
