Cassie deviated her emerald hues from Seth, moving to her fidgeting hands as she tried to gather her thoughts and tried to keep her heart at its normal pace. “I’ve dreamed for so long to hear those words come out of your mouth. Thousands of songs written by this exact moment and how I wanted it to happen so bad,” she started, a small scoff leaving her lips as her chin raised to look at the man who had been the reason for so many of her peals of laughter and tears. “Those words would have been enough for me if they came four years earlier when I was a complete fool for you. Now… I need more. Not only that. I deserve more. I deserve more than some words arranged beautifully to please my ears and heart,” a single tear rolled down her cheek, defying the stern expression on her features, “But I need your actions to speak louder than those words. Because I love you, Seth, but I don’t trust you enough right now to give you my heart.”

Sitting on the edge of his bed with her legs crisscrossed, she watched him getting ready for a new day full of press conferences that came with both of their jobs. All the blonde wanted was to spend some more time with him, so when she caught him checking on her through the mirror, she pulled her best pouty puppy look that she knew for a fact that worked for always using it on him when they were growing up. “What face?” she asked sweetly, faking innocence into what she was doing to him. “I just wanted you to stay a little more with me,” her pout intensified while she got up from the bed and hugged him from behind. “Can we have dinner tonight?” she asked, tiptoeing to give a small peck on his shoulder. “I think I ca still make that spaghetti your mom used to make for us when we were little.”

“Tell all those other girls you don’t need them ‘cause you got me.”

A smirk appeared on Jake’s features, taking a step closer to his girlfriend. His hand raised to her face and gently pulled a strand of hair behind her ear before the hand fell to her chin, lifting just enough for him to meet her lips halfway. “Who cares about what the other girls do?” he asked with a shrug of his shoulders. “I only have eyes for you. Fuck them,” the last words coming out in between chuckles before he pulled Alaska to another kiss. “All I want is you. Let them look and do whatever they want because, at the end of the day, I will always come back to you.”

“Bite me.”

A chuckle erupted from his lips, causing his head to fall back on the pillow while he still held Alaska in her arms. Jake wasn’t one to laugh or smile a lot, but with his girlfriend seemed impossible to spend a minute alone not doing those two exact things; especially when she would get annoyed about something he would say to get that exact reaction. “Oh, is that a demand?” he teased, his eyebrows wiggling as he looked down at her again. “Where would you like me to bite you?” he asked again, with a cheeky smile already going ahead and biting her cheek before she could even answer.

“$50 bucks says it’s a boy.”

“What happened to what’s mine is yours? It would pretty much be me betting my own money, ” The blonde replied, her blue eyes meeting Percy’s and a humorous smile on her features as she turned her attention to their kid. Her mouth opened instinctively while watching the spoon approaching her son’s mouth. Chris was already able to eat by himself but that didn’t stop Lily from watching him like a hawk while it. “And why would I even bet with you when there’s a 98 percent chance that you already asked Red what is the gender?” she challenged with an arch of brow, taking a sip of her water. “I want a little sister,” the youngest Jackson cooed which made a chuckle escape Lily’s mouth and stroke the top of his head. “You heard our little champ, Perce. He wants a little sister. You are not betting against him, are you?”

Her eyebrows furrowed and Lily momentarily stopped cleaning the dishes to shoot a confused look to Percy’s direction. “Not that I’m disagreeing with you, but how our conversation about possibly having another kid made you think that?” she questioned in pure curiosity. Percy’s mind always surprised Lily in one way or another and watching him explain himself was as much fun as hearing those weird and out of context comments. With her attention back to the dishes, a small smirk tugged her lips up. “Is this your way to tell me to hold you tonight so you can lay on my boobs? i. after the boys’ redemption to ‘girls talk boys’ when they won the first game of the season. jess actually couldn’t take her eyes from max and was waiting for the time james to get distracted with maya to go find him, but when she got the opportunity; max was already making out with a random cheerleader.

ii. when they were arguing about a school project. she just wanted to make him shut the fuck up because he was getting on her nerves and she almost went for it, but everyone of the cinnamon squad was there, so she just turned around and left him arguing by himself.

iii. when he helped her to babysit her neighbour’s kids. james was supposed to be there to help her, but he was dealing with the football coach and couldn’t get there in time. so she called max, he went and helped her in ways she couldn’t believe he would. and when he was about to leave, she thought about kissing him… but june got home to cockblock them once again.

iv. when he showed up at school’s darkroom. jess was there printing some of the photos she had taken around the city and he showed up out of the blue and started to ask everything about how the printing system worked and being all excited when he understood and actually printed one. lbr there’s nothing more attractive than a guy showing interest in what you like, and she would had definitely kissed him there.

v. when he was nervous about the second game of the season. it was against their biggest rival, and even though all of the boys were playing, max couldn’t help but to think of the worst case scenario. jess wanted to kiss him to make him relax, but refrained herself; only squeezing his shoulder reassuringly. 

vi. one day after the boys’ football practice. only max was there bc he had to run around the field bc of a joke he made, so she sneaked into the lockeroom and got in shower with him. obviously he was like “what the fuck jess” and she just shut him a kiss, not caring that she would get wet and that he was obviously naked. when she broke the kiss and was about to leave, max grabbed her by the arm with that sly smile of his and kissed her again.

i. when max was teasing him about kia and theo. he wouldn’t admit to max bc that boy would just start screaming to everyone and he would also run to maya’s to tell ashton has said that, so he just kept denying and denying.

ii. when she left for princeton. james, being the little shit he was, nudged ash’s arm with his elbow and said “must be hard seeing the girl you love leaving,” ash obviously denied and punched james’ arms. but he was right, it surely was hard.

iii. when he and gio bumped into each other on college. they started to talk about the mess they put each other through last year and started to laugh and shit and gio blurted, “but hey, it’s ok bc now you have the girl you love.” and he was like “i don’t love her and we aren’t together.” gio and ash ended up having sex on her room that night.

iv. when lauren confronted him about it. she was done with seeing him ‘concealing’ his feelings and he was done with her thinking she knows everything he is feeling. they didn’t talk to each other for a whole week after it.

v. when warren brought her to dinner and introduced her as his girlfriend. instantely after dinner, he went to find niv at her apartment bc he was pissed as hell at his cousin and niv was like ‘are you acting like that bc you love her?’ and he was like ‘no, it’s bc he is an asshole and you know it very well.’

vi. when carmen came back from london. ash and carmen are each other secret holders. so when she came back, he sneaked into her room late at night and they just started to talk about everything, including carmen’s pregnancy. when kia and warren came in topic, he knew he could confide in carmen his feelings for kia, and that’s what he did.

natalia and ian + five times my muse has thought about yours, and the one time they do something about it.

i. when a random guy called her mysterious on the pub. she rolled her eyes so hard at him and soon remembered the first time her and ian met, because he had also said that to her; and it was honestly more effective than this guy.

ii. when she heard waste the night on the radio. she remembered lucas had said ian chose that song as the band’s new single, which shocked her a bit because that was one of the favorite songs’ the boys had written and it lowkey reminded her of him. 

iii. when she was watching how to get away with murder. that connor guy really looked like ian and everytime he opened his mouth, it just made her think of ian even more bc he was an ass just like him. connor is her favorite character of the show, hands down.

iv. when she opened the door of her and lils’ apartmet and saw a trail of clothes. she looked at that, remembering the day she played him to see how far he would go with her. a smirk showed up on her face as she closed the door, giving lilly the privacy that she needed to finish her business.

v. when she went to see anna. because it had been awhile since they last talked to each other since she moved out. anna obviously asked about her love life, and nat said there was no candidates to fulfill that part of her life right now– even though ian was in her mind as she said that.

vi. one night that she knew lilly was at her parents’ house and bren on a date with kat. she thought about what ian might been doing, so she went to a store and bought a six pack of beer and went to his apartment. when she got there and he opened the door, with a confused look, she gave him the pack and shrugged and said “i didn’t want to be alone tonight.”
