"This is all your fault! If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be in this mess!" Scarlett shrieked, stomping through the room and basically making a mess of things.

"Technically that's true, but it does take two to make a child." Max replied. This comment only resulted in a pillow flying his way, which he dodged easily before making another attempt to calm her down. "At least we'll have an evil heir now!"

"I'm seventeen, I don't want a heir!" She growled, turning to glare at the shorter. He bit his lip, staying silent before trying again.

"Then we'll use adoption, or abortion, whatever you want to do...I'm fine with whatever, really."

This comment made her freeze in her rampage, taking a couple deep breaths. She did have a great boyfriend—even if he did get her pregnant.

Dasky-AKA what I thought would happen in TDPI

"So, Sky, I was thinking that perhaps we could make an alliance? The merge is coming up soon, and it's always good to have someone on your side, right?" Dave rambled, practically jogging to keep up with the other's pace. She didn't answer, and if anything, she began to walk faster.

Oblivious to her discomfort, he continued to trail her, staying silent in hopes of an answer and talking again when he got none. "You don't have to decide right now, of course. I just thought it'd be a good idea, so you can just answer whenever you want."

He continued talking, and Sky's irritation grew with every word. How hard is it to tell when someone doesn't feel like talking? And if he could wait for an answer, why wasn't he leaving? Eventually she turned, staring him down before giving him as close to an answer as she could. "Just leave me ALONE!" His expression changed instantly from excited nervousness to confusion and hurt, and she instantly felt awful. "Oh, Dave, I didn't mean that. I just...don't want to work with someone I'll have to turn against. I-I want to do this alone. You understand, right?"

He bit his lip, forcing a smile. "Oh, yeah, no problem. I'll just, um, go, then."

He turned to leave, and Sky opened her mouth to speak, falling silent last second. What would she say, exactly? 'We can still be friends'? After practically screaming that she didn't want to be around him, how would that work out?

With a sigh, she walked in the opposite direction, dipping her head and hoping she didn't screw everything up.
