also even if rose was mother-ish they were still like seasoned warriors so i’d assume like teen pearl wasn’t like fighting a war

overall whatever no biggie, it’s just that most other past things seemed serious/mature, and they were shown as older looking in that one pic

ok just had my audition! it was for concert band which is like whatever but i hadn't auditioned/played concert stuff for quite a while

i sat outside my band director's (who's also the marching band director so i kinda sorta know him) office for a little while waiting until my actual time to go in, but i felt awkward about warming up cuz stuff was going on in a few other rooms nearby... i did a little bit tho and then he came out

his daughter was there because schools are canceled but that was cool

i walked in and went for the chair and he was like 'stand or sit' then i was like oh shit i forgot you're supposed to stand for this stuff

he asked me a little about myself and i gave him some sorta awkward response (kinda the abridged version of my life too). he mentioned that i sounded nervous (great) which i was bc i suck at the audition process (pretty good at actual auditions tho hehe) and it was a little weird because it's like chair auditions for the lowest band. but he knows my hs band director (whose name is anthony) and calls him tony which is great

i warmed up a smidge in front of him then got to play 2 major scales of my choice, which was weirdly awkward. those were fine although i've lost a little of my ~scale precision~

my piece went pretty well. it was a solo so all the orchestra breaks were awk (even tho i shortened them). i had cut some parts to get it under 5 mins (i think what i had planned to play was like 4:20 ish ayy) but he cut me off a little early. kinda good tho because the end was a bit hit or miss

he said i had good sound yay!!

then he asked me a few more school type questions like major which i'm not totally sure of and he said that i didn't sound very sure when i gave a response lol

not really sure why i typed all of this out. i wanted to say a couple of these things but ended up saying all of them lol

I'm a Christmas gift goddess. Like, I probably prize my self-worth on the quality of Christmas presents I buy for people. THOUGH I'M PROBABLY JUST GETTING AHEAD OF MYSELF IDK IF PEOPLE ACTUALLY LIKE THE THINGS I GIVE THEM.

My hair???? Honestly it's really messy and gross and it has no volume in the right places and all the volume in the wrong places but it's the one part of me that doesn't completely disgust me so yes

I can paint. Not that well, but I think I'm pretty ok??

DEBATE PROBABLY. Tbh I'm not even good but it's the only thing I have that I can consider as a skill besides painting

HMMMM WELL THIS WAS SOMETHING THAT IM NOT QUITE PROUD OF BUT ITS STILL PRETTY COOL that I can hold alcohol really well. Like, pretty darn well for a 15 year old child. Then again I come from a Hokkien family so drinking is pretty much a must during any kind of special occasion… so its probably a "i'm-used-to-it" thing. But yeah I mean I've always been able to hold alcohol pretty good (especially "girly drinks" whatever the fuck that means because girly drinks are bomb ok NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS THEY ARE AMAZING) and I've never gotten drunk, maybe a lil tipsy even when me and my sister share like an entire bottle of sake or some shit

A- Why my last relationship ended. : We didn’t agree on a lot of things, particularly on how often we had to meet up. So it ended.
