It’s been a long, crazy road, but if the paranormal investigative antics have been anything, they’ve been a good way to get out walking with the dog. Mystery’s been Vinny’s pet for a while now, and has kept morale up among thr group ever since he first tagged along. He’s even helped solve a few cases with his impeccable smell. However, after that run-in with the haunted house and what may be the group’s actual first encounter with the supernatural, Vinny’s been in a bit of a slump, and it shows. Despite having been petting Mystery for a few hours, he’s felt sad for reasons he doesn’t know why. When that ghost offered him what he assumed to be its heart, and Vinny watched it drop to the floor and break, it brought out something that he first thought was pity, but as the night went on, it felt more melancholy. The thing is, he doesn’t know why, and it’s driving him crazy... Maybe he just needs to stop focusing on this.
His vision turns to his dog, and a slight smile returns to his face. Leaning in, he gives Mystery’s fur a ruffle on his shoulders. As they ride on down the road, an idea comes into his head. He pulls out the portable DVD player that they keep around for long rides.
“Hey you... You wanna watch a movie with me, Mystery?”

Mystery wearily stared at the double, his ears pinned back. This was...freaky and he didn’t like it. He didn’t make this illusion and even then he would have known it was fake this kitsune however...It’s alive.

Concerned noises of a small dog that knows something bad just happened, not much in the way of food but at least he was warm.
Arthur still appreciated the warm, and with a cookie in his mouth, he stroked at Mystery’s neck fluff. It was soft, and with how many other times he’d pet him to help when things got too big, too loud, too much, it brought a sense of deep comfort that helped him relax more into the blankets.
He offered Mystery a strawberry from the pile as he continued nibbling on his cookie.

Mystery couldn’t help but glare daggers into the other. He got drunk? Seriously?! There’s so many things that could go wrong with a drunken kitsune he didn’t even know where to begin! But the glare lessened; the other was fairly stressed and afraid but...The decision was still foolish.

There was a pause as Mystery shook his head, denying the offer for help. ❛❛I do not wish to involve more people with my own problems. besides, since we got ourselves into this mess we have to own up to what we have done and handle it ourselves. We are the same yet...different. I am unsure how your relationship was with Shiromori and Yukano but..what we’ve learned over these centuries..we have to apply them here.❜❜

Mystery stared at his panicked double giving him rather troubling news. He simply stared and replied with, ❛❛You actually allow the vet to take your blood..?❜❜
In all honesty, vet visits mostly consisted of Mystery putting on a scene to make the vets ask Vivi to leave, hypnotize them then have them think they examined him and send him home saying he’s well. Had they examined him they would have found..many strange things.
