It's kinda weird to be where I am right now. Which is, I actually was really unusually involved in making content for a fandom up until 2 days ago. Like terribly hyperfixated. But after the finale, most of my motivation feels like it's kinda dropped to zero. And yeah I could write a post explaining it all, what bothers me, what I'm disappointed by. I might still, it's cathartic. And since it's just Tumblr and I've blocked like 70% of the fandom that sucks, I don't really worry about it adding to a much larger unfairly negative echochamber. But I kinda tried typing it all out once. And it was just a really long, rambly post that I'm not sure would benefit anyone but me.
And also like, it's not a big deal? I mean it is, at the end of the day, just a TV show. But it feels really weird to have the bulk of the hyperfixation just like, leave my body all at once. Like huh. Hmm. I've been getting a reliable dopamine hit from this one thing for weeks. Which feels now like it's less likely to be a reliable source in the future. And that's odd and a little disappointing to recognize.
Anyway it's just always going to be weird how our connections to fiction work.
Since all these ppl decided to dm me from ONE selfie Im scrolling through my own blog and surprisingly it's not the cesspool of Owl House, Shoujo, Marichat, and Chaos Memes I thought I was presenting the world with keeping horn dogs at bay but is in actuality mainly 95% cats. Like it's mostly cats. Idr reblogging so many cats.
