it does seem, no whatever what he chooses, it would lead to someone being heartbroken. and things wouldn’t go back to the way they used to be either. he hates that he is on this position. he hates hope for doing what she did, for lying and let the lie keep going. but he hates that he understands why she did it the most. and that he doesn’t really hate her. hard to, considering he was in love with her. as he sits by the deck, feet dangling by the water, he knows she is behind them without even hearing her. “honestly? i want to be alone right now, hope.” he speaks, having said the same thing to josie. “and at the same time, i want to talk. but I really don’t know what to say.”
