He thinks long and hard about it, trying to pull up a memory that can describe the real meaning of the word for him, but in the end he knows there are not enough words, and yet only one is needed.
"Danny." He says with a shrug.

☣ because how did this not happen yet? lol
Matt’s luck had finally run out. He’d thought the meeting with the accountants for the ‘new client’ was a setup from the get go, but he also thought that he’d manage to screw the guys he was working for without getting caught himself, and maybe then he could figure out a way to go back home.
As it happens, he’s the one that got caught, the guys he worked for never showed up and they probably have put a price on his head already.
A couple of guards come in, telling him that he has a visitor. They shackle his hands and feet together and take him to a room with a single table. They make him sit and wait for whoever is coming.
He’s surprised to see Danny coming through the door, and a little bit scared, he admits to himself. But more than anything, he’s so incredibly grateful that Danny is the ne that’s here instead of Dad or even worse, Mom.
He doesn’t really know what to say, and there’s nothing he could say that would make things better, so he just settles for a “Hey big brother” and waits for the storm.
Danny: Nightmare
3. Your character has kidnapped mine and is torturing them for reasons unknown.
Matt is in a dark room, tied to a chair. He can’t get away and can’t remember how he got there.
Suddenly a door opens and Danny comes in. He looks strange, a dark expression on his face, one Matt’s never seen before.
Before Matt can ask what’s going on, Danny pounces on him, beating him with hands and feet and Matt can finally identify the look on Danny’s face. Danny hates him, and he’s making him suffer.
Matt tries to make hims stop, tries to scream, but nothing works, Danny is still attacking him and now he has a knife on his hands. “No… Danny, please don’t!” He finally whimpers, before Danny finally plunges the knife in Matt’s gut.
He wakes up shouting Danny’s name, shaking from head to toe and not really sure where he is right now.
Danny: "I didn't actually think you'd do it."
Matt drops the gun as if it burned him and stared at Danny. It wasn’t supposed to go like this, Danny should have let him go! Besides he didn’t think the trigger would go off so easily! “No! Danny… I’m sorry!”
He needs to go now, but he can’t leave Danny bleeding on the floor, so he goes to his brother’s side, looking helplessly at the bleeding wound. “What do I do? Danny? What do I do!?”
