thattardisispacked replied to your post: Percy Jackson killed me. I live Logan Lurman (sp...?), but the writers destroyed that movie. Same about Logan Lerman but gosh that movie sucked so much. It would be good as a person who has never ever read the book, but actually trying to pass it off as a film adaptation would be atrocious. So many thing wrong in that I can't bother to our the time in listing it.
I think Maggie Q is perfect based on her work in Nikita. I agree w/ you about Kate Winslet. She's an amazing actress, and I could not have chosen better. Other than that, I'm not sure. I'm hoping for the best because I'm really tired of terrible adaptations. I'm not sure if you have read The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, but they're making it into a movie. I'm nervous about that cast, too. I just want the actors, directors, writers, etc. to love a respect the characters as much as I do. I apologize for the break-ups. The character limit is a game kill. It used to have unlimited characters before it took an arrow to the knee. I haven't read that series yet even though I'm a little bit interested as to if I should read it or not. Oh it's fine, no need to worry about it being broken up. As for terrible adaptations I know the feeling. That happened with Inkheart an Percy Jackson (ugh no why)
thattardisispacked replied to your post: I hope she does well. I like the actor who is playing Four, but I can see what you mean. I didn't have a clear picture of him in my head before I saw the cast, though. What do you think of the rest of the cast? Most of the actors that have been cast I haven't actually seen their work, which is a bit of a downer on my part hopefully I can find a movie with them in it, but for actually capturing what I imagined of them looking like most of the choices have met it. I can see see Maggie Q as Tori and Kate Winslet as Jeanine (I think she's perfect for it actually. Also the same goes for Christine. I'm not sure about Peter but as I've said before I can't judge them acting wise. Hopefully they all meet my expectations in the movie and of course I'm super excited about it. What do you think?
thattardisispacked replied to your post: Me too. I can't wait to see what's going to happen. I am concerned about the Tris casting. First, the actress is the girl from SLAT and from what I've seen is not that great of an actress. Also, she doesn't match the book's description. What do you think? I agree with what you said about her. I don't know about her, but hopefully she'll give the character justice. Veronica Roth approved so maybe she'll exceed our expectations. I'm also iffy over who they chose for Four. I really did not picture him like that.
thattardisispacked replied to your post: Reading it now. Love it. Only stopped for tumblr. Haha, ooh I love that book. I'm just so excited. I just can't fight it.
thattardisispacked replied to your post: I'm sorry. I hope your book is fantastic and has a satisfying ending. Okay thank you! You are far too sweet, and u haven't finished it yet. Oh well, I decided to take a break after four hours. But reading for four hours straight, listening to music, an watching a bit of The Walking Dead sure does wonders.
thattardisispacked replied to your post: I find him hilarious, and I love him. You are not alone. Someone finds him funny! Yes thank you! I am happy that I am not alone!
