Thaxantheseth, or Thaxan, was originally throneholder of Krantenoscea, a rocky proto-planet that formed in the Keado system. Krantenoscea was to be the second planet from the sun, a lush world of plantlife tended to by this great astral gardener. Unfortunately, in the early days of the system’s formation, the proto-jovian planet Strael was on a collision-course with Keado. The gravity of Strael disrupted Krantenoscea from its orbit and set it hurtling into proto-Thaevern, causing complete destruction of the small green planet. The Thaevern of today is the result of this impact. The shattered moon Corus was what was leftover from this event, before it too was torn apart and became Thaevern’s rings.
Injured in the fall, throneless and nearly dead, Thaxan hid deep in the turbulent core of Thaevern to regenerate. After nearly four billion years, the fragile green god reemerged with a new tiny throne--a physical body. It was about the era of the first Eandarae that Thaxan awoke as the first Oshrathari and began to establish the species, shrouded in magic to work in secret as a demi-mortal. Thaxan cast a barrier around Vaexaros that hid it from gods and mortals alike and prevented this project species from escaping to the dangers outside of it. The act of establishing the Oshrathari and casting a barrier used up what little remaining power Thaxan had left. The Oshrathari are now the only hope for Thaxan to regain what was lost. Thaxan influences the actions of the species quietly from the shadows, but is absent for unpredictable stretches of time.
