The woman-- the demon, Flip noted with a mischievous grin, was intriguing. He’d never had dealings with her kind before, and while he didn’t particularly enjoy coming out of his own realm to pay visits to the waking world, he could make a few exceptions. This was one of them. If she could be in the human world, then so could he. Flip snuck up on her, footfalls as silent as if he wasn’t touching the ground at all. Finally though, the sneakiness got boring, and he got impatient. “Ahh.... hi.” He popped out in front of her.
