In the Black Cells there were the escapees , two mortals who were said to have Heretic affiliations who went by PAVEL and GERARD, and a Gifted who was known only as ICAS. All three are simply referred to as the ESCAPEES. May they never find peace or harmony.
THE TALES OF WOE.
Pavel and Gerard are siblings that were known for their extremist leanings, so much so that they were said to be new Heretics. Although there are others who say that their family is like a blight upon the land, consistently festering in their hatred for those that they consider other. However, none thought much of them until they began to act on their bitter words, crossing the borders into Caelum and Infernum to slaughter when they could, slowly amassing Blesed Weaponry and assembling their own private arsenal. They were finally captured when they made their move, slaughtering a small party of demons that had been hunting along the borders. A number of them were members of the conclave and since then, the two siblings have been kept within the Black Cells, though for all the years they were imprisoned and tortured they have never once given away the location of the hoard of cataclysmic weaponry.
Icas is, allegedly, the ringleader of the escapees. It is said that she is the mastermind who concocted the plan to escape the Black Cells. They say that ever since they survived the Blood Plague, something rotten within them had taken root - and they were right. Icas’ gift is rot and decay, with the talons that were once her hands, whenever she digs them into you, you decay from the inside out. A slow, painful death that she happily wielded, nearly bringing the entirety of the Holy Land under her thumb until the united efforts of angels, demons, and mortals managed to shackle her and stow her away. The three of them together promise nothing less than the ruin of the kingdom of Infernum, if not the world.
