Honestly fuck Elias. Wendy was evil but so was Marc’s dad for just uselessly standing aside and letting his wife BEAT THEIR SON. Letting her blame and guilt trip him for years. Not immediately divorcing a bitch for that shit. And then he has the spineless audacity to beg Marc not to leave his ass because he doesn’t “want to lose another son” BITCH YOU DID WHEN YOU LET HIM SUFFER. He prob lowkey agreed with his wife and was glad she could get her hands dirty while he kept his own ‘clean’!

And then Elias tried to ask his abused son to help ‘fix’ his mom like he owes her ANYTHING. Fuck Wendy Spector but FUCK Elias Spector as well, that coward. At least we can rest well-assured that Wendy went to Hell when she died (and Elias is headed if he doesn’t make up for that shit ASAP)... Honestly, a part of me hoped, and is sorta still hoping, that Jake emerged to kill her and that’s how she died. It’d be what Wendy deserved. Wendy is detestable but let’s not forget Elias either, having the audacity to act like he was a helpless victim like his son the whole time!

Bet he was thinking “We’re all in this together” this is NO way a WE problem Elias! And then he pitifully, uselessly (as he always does!) tries to beckon his son to attend Wendy’s shiva like this is something they can both share in, like Marc would suddenly WANT HIM as a source of comfort when he’s never been that, why would Elias start now, when he STILL doesn’t do shit to reach out??? And even if he did he isn’t owed any damn forgiveness nor time of day. Fellas Elias Spector is the Chicken Little’s Dad of the MCU.

This season has one of the strongest POV of any Skam season, doesn’t it?

I love that we get these moments with Nora where you feel her thoughts switch, feel her zoning out into herself and see how she processes.

So often she hides behind lies and a facade but then when she needs an escape or has a chance to be free or feels cornered, she feels so unpredictable sometimes. She is a character I don’t feel like I’ve seen before, really really complex and you don’t quite know what you’re going to get

The fact that she just said she was terrified of open water and then had a moment to herself where she decided to face that. She’s getting to do things her way and to make choices for herself, not based on other people, and to be the ones to see her disconnect from moments and have these epiphanies is so immersive.

We know that her mind is often focused on others and her energy placed entirely on keeping her mum afloat at the expense of her own wishes. It’s left her unsure of who she is and what she wants and with this tiny break you can see how much it has entirely thrown her and how she either chooses panic or action. You never quite know which she will choose!

The inevitable snap back to reality is going to be painful but I think maybe her perspective will have shifted. Giving someone who had been manipulated and effectively abused a moment of peace and clarity and time to think is a really powerful thing and can be life changing. It can teach you not to accept what came before.

We might not know everything about her mind yet and we might not, as an audience, even be beyond the facade she has built but we are slowly getting there and with this intense sense of POV, it feels so intriguing to get to be the ones to feel how she feels, to get to witness the changes in her even sometimes exactly at the moment she realises them!
