Hello everyone! Apologies for the dip in activity; I have been extraordinarily busy as school has just started back up for me and our mental health is fluctuating (as we warned about). We're thinking of getting other moderators on here to help run the blog, so look out for that soon.

If you ask Rick Astley for a copy of the movie “UP”, he cannot give you it as he can never give you up. But, by doing that, he is letting you down, and thus, is creating something known as the Astley Paradox.

What if I am not let down by the fact that Rick Astley is unable to provide me a copy of UP. Does the Astley Paradox persist in that scenario.

11. what color  do  they  look  strikingly  good  in?

  earth  tones—shades  of  green  including  forest  or  sage,  and  warm,  dark  browns—are  most  prominently  featured  in  jahnu’s  wardrobe.  he  doesn’t  often  wear  them,  but    both  off-white  and  lavender  compliment  his  complexion  well.  jahnu  would  look  particularly  striking  in  formal  wear  of  either  color.  though  he  generally  favors  masculine  clothing,  he  also  enjoys  presenting  androgynously.  

   13. do  they  make  strong  or  frequent  eye  contact  when  they  talk  to  someone?

  jahnu  makes  both  strong  and  frequent  eye  contact  when  speaking  to  someone.  eye  contact  is  an  important  part  of  his  abilities:  compelling  someone  to  make  a  statement  or  to  take  a  certain  action  is  more  effective  (thus  harder  to  resist)  when  he  is  making  eye  contact  with  them.  where  one’s  gaze  may  slide  off  creatures  affected  by  the  stranger,  eye  contact  with  jahnu  has  the  opposite  effect:  it  is  physically  difficult  to  break.  his  gaze  can  either  feel  oppressive,  as  if  rooting  one  to  their  seat,  or  comforting,  allowing  one  to  collect  their  thoughts  and  tell  their  story  cohesively.  these  affects  initially  are  unintentional,  but  once  jahnu  recognizes  that  he’s  been  claimed  by  the  beholding,  he  begins  to  develop  his  abilities  is  better  able  to  control  them.  when  engaging  in  any  conversation  without  compelling  the  other  person,  his  eye  contact  is  often  inexplicably  unnerving.  it  makes  the  other  person  feel  as  if  jahnu  knows  something  they  don’t,  or  knows  something  personal  about  them  without  having  to  ask.  

   15. what  are  their  greatest  flaw  and  their  greatest  strength  related?  if  so,  in  what  way?

  there  are  a  number  of  flaws—avoidance,  perfectionism,  paranoia—that  connect  to  jahnu’s  strengths—perceptiveness,  intelligence,  empathy—which    affect  his  perceptions    and  behavior.  as  the  archivist,  he’s  able  to  perceive  the  influence  of  the  supernatural  differently  than  the  average  person  can,  such  as  the  feeling  of  being  watched  when  initially  reading  written  statements.  this  tends  to  make  him  paranoid  and  sometimes  antagonistic  towards  his  coworkers  before  he  fully  understands  the  entities,  instead  blaming  the  feeling  on  the  people  around  him  rather  than  confronting  the  supernatural.  after  admitting  this  to  martin,  he  later  becomes  braver  in  his  pursuit  of  knowledge  and  a  better  understanding  of  each  entity.
