Let's Read Peanuts (Because if we don't, the communists win) – July 1961
There are lots of great strips I just don't have room to comment on. I strongly encourage everybody to read along at the official GoComics page or by purchasing the Fantagraphics hardcover collections.
July 3, 1961
The default American response to any given problem.
July 5, 1961
TV is absolutely bad for you. That said, these concerns are adorably quaint looking back on them from the age of the internet and AI.
July 9, 1961
I’m choosing to read this as Lucy actually talking about “Monster Madness” in that last panel.
Also, “Doctors’ Round Table” sounds like a miserable experience. I'd rather spend the day staring at an empty room like the crazy lady from The Audition. Hell, you can toss me into her mystery murder bag while you’re at it.
July 21, 1961
I’m like 99% sure Linus isn’t exaggerating here. That thing scares the shit out of me.
July 24, 1961
Honestly? Kind of surprised this didn’t happen sooner.
July 28, 1961
This feels like a strip you'd make if you were trying to make fun of Peanuts for having been written in the 60s.
July 29, 1961
God damn do I relate to this storyline. I think we’ve all been part of some friend group activity where once one person jumped ship the entire group realized “wait, you mean we DON’T have to be wasting every Thursday afternoon doing this bullshit!?” and bailed.

Schroeder is going to rejoin the team because one crabby weirdo hanging off of his piano all day is more than enough.
"I wuv u Gojo-kun..."
I was very happy seeing them finally admit their feelings to each other.
Mornings with the Monkees
The Audition (1999) but it’s Tseng
“Did you know, this wire cuts through bones…so..easily”
Tseng commented as he held up the thin wire saw. His target struggled on the ground, they didn’t care about that. Tseng smirked.
“Don’t worry this will be quick..”

I FINALLY finished this!! This took me so long to finish due to work and college and also the fact that I was unmotivated to draw for a bit and more focused on exposed docs.
Anyways this art is based on one of my favorite movies that my friend introduced me, the movie is called “The Audition” and I thought this scene fit Tseng, especially with him being a Turk and being a Turk meaning you have to preform assasinations.
I <3 freaky movies
I wish I knew somebody that matches my freak in movies. Like yes bae let’s watch possession, audition, blue velvet, Lorna the exorcist, hellraiser, meatball machine, ichi the killer, and killer nun that’d be so fun.
