☄️ COMET - what do people assume about them? are they right?
- The Bewitcher lives a rather isolated island (aka King Jones' kingdom/island), where it's a weird cauldron of cultures, for alot of his later life so assumptions were few with the people around him at the time, but that doesn't mean that there aren't alot of assumptions made surrounding him -
Berwyn, as a muddler, somewhat effeminate man and an American, grew up with many assumptions made around him. That he was clumsy and dumb and didn't have a place anywhere above his station (which was pretty low), and anyone sticking around his presence for long enough will notice his hopeless romantic tendencies that many assumed to be undesirable and his downfall if he were to enter the romantic scene.
They were right about him being clumsy, naive and oblivious, many muddlers are naturally so due to their education and upbringing. Though his dog-like attachment and adoration to anyone who lets him latch onto them might make some folks a little unsure, it did land him a spot with the ladies who too craved unstrung affection from a man and ultimately ended up with the Mymble as her first lover and gave way to their first child.
What they were very wrong about was that he was gay.
He was actually polysexual, thank you very much! (He probably would've described himself as straight at the time, though. He wasn't interested in manly men)
🖍️ CRAYON - what advice would you give to them?
- Please for the love of Venus don't beg for someone else's (even false) affection when they've lost interest, even if they used to be close to you, even if it feels like you have nobody else.
🔪 KNIFE - how do they react to injury / misfortune befalling their loved ones (significant other, family, friends)? do they put themselves at blame?
- He's very emotionally intense and takes injury/misfortune very seriously like a very worried parent, constantly asking questions or if the person in question needs accomodations of any kind. He's not the type to enjoy slapstick humor.
He wouldn't blame himself for such things most of the time unless he knows he has something directly to do with it.
