This supernatural night market is rarely found in the same place twice – dealing in illicit auctions and paranormal goods, there is good reason to be cloak-and-dagger about the location. In order to obtain the location of the market’s next visit, one must either already know someone involved with a business there, or successfully bribe it out of someone willing to share what they know. That said, it is possible to accidentally stumble upon the entrance if you are not actively searching for it. It can appear anywhere – inside abandoned buildings, beneath bridges, or even behind the door of some poor sap’s linen closet. The Bizarre is not constrained by physical limitations, instead often straddling the line between reality and the abstract realm of the astral plane, appearing in peoples’ dreams.

The large archway that greets you upon entering the Bizarre has a painted sign that looks about as ancient as some of the supernatural vendors, and it looks like the spelling has changed from “Bizarre” to “Bazaar” a few times before being scrubbed out and repainted. If you wander near the oldest stalls, you might hear the vendors there still debating about what the original name was.

Anything can be considered ethical at the Bizarre, so long as the price is mutually agreed upon. The vast array of vendors sell things at their stalls ranging from human organs to monster parts for alchemy, rare creatures, paranormal artifacts, and more. There is an auction house where nightly bids take place for the more spectacular pieces of magical curios, owned and operated by an old billy goat of a faun. To him, there’s nothing better than the thrill of a tense auction floor and the heated bidding wars that arise.

While currency is sometimes accepted, the Bizarre is generally more of a barter system – in order to buy something, you will most likely have to offer something in exchange. This does not always have to be material items, especially not if the vendor you’re dealing with is fae. Promise binds are always an accepted form of payment.

All manner of consignors are hired by the market to provide it with goods for trade. Since the market wants items from across the globe, there is a designated area for magic access points where consignors and patrons with special magical artifacts can visit the market any time they please using the astral, no matter where the true entrance is located that night.
