Had a dream one time

So you know those videos where a kids show like FHFIF or SpongeBob gets hijacked to show eerie scenes and messages? Kinda had a dream of my own hijack thing.

y’all remember Oswald right? Like the blue friendly octopus?

Here was the dream;

“On September 24, 2001, One of the animators (Named Jeremy Hills) of Oswald had the idea to introduce a new character into the show. A sassy snail girl named Samantha. She would be a gardener and become part of Oswald’s friend group. The idea was rejected and scrapped due to how Samantha looked like she wouldn’t fit right into the show. Mostly she was scrapped because she looked a bit tomboyish and might change how kids behave. When Jeremy learned his character was cut, he became furious and decided that Samantha wouldn’t be forgotten.” - The Narrator of the video

In 2002, to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Oswald, Nick Jr would do a Oswald Marathon called The Oswaldathon. The Narrator would be recording a few episodes for their sick friend. Everything would be perfectly fine at first but then, in Sniffles, during the scene where Oswald goes out for Henry, Samantha is seen walking past Oswald. She has no lines. The narrator finds it weird but assumes it as a random background character.

But in The Broken Vase, things take a turn. Instead of Oswald being there. It’s Samantha. Her voice is a bit like Madame Butterfly’s but pitched up. The Narrator assumes it’s an animation error and they accidentally dropped a new character into the show without revealing it. But as the other episodes play, Samantha appears to replace Oswald. Instead of the scene having adorable blue octopus we love, It’s Samantha over and over.

Then things get creepier. During Tutti-Frutti Pie, a frame of Samantha suddenly freezes. Then goes black and begins to flash repeatedly, showing an early design of Samantha in concept art. Then suddenly it cuts to Samatha looking at the screen with a wide creepy grin. Her head tilts at an angle and light green lettering appears on screen that says “THIS IS MY SHOW NOW. YOU THOUGHT I WOULD STAY IN THE DARK FOREVER?” This stays before going back to normal.

The screen goes black before a screen shows all our favorite Nick Jr characters like Dora, Little Bill, Blue and others around a light yellow box that says Technical Difficulties.

The next day, reports of crying children, nightmares and a frame of Samantha with her creepy grin are on the news. Nick Jr offers apologies out to all people affected by the hijack. Jeremy Hills is later arrested and charged. While all instances and edits of Samantha’s appearance are scrubbed from the tempered episodes, the Narrator still has the video on their phone.
