The signs were there, little beacon of light that lite up all over the world on his simulated map. It would of been easy to miss. Whoever was picking up these girls was doing it quietly, two or three over a two day period. So subtle and brilliantly executed it was no wonder that not even Interpol had picked it up. Rome, Berlin, Paris, London, New York, Tokyo. All high density cities, on packed tourist filled evenings, every precise moment planned out in meticulous detail. Bruce could only assume these girls had been watched for awhile, the timing of their kidnappings considered with breaks from work and starts of vacation to easily to suggest them being random occurrences. After several runs of his collected notes into a theorem program, two words came up in bright read flashing letters, Hong Kong.
The rain poured down, warm droplets pounding heavy against the city reaching for the sky. The towers of international businesses shone like stalagmites of the god's against the lush green mountains. Blackbat was his contact in the far east city and he found approaching her in cowl much more comfortable then as Bruce. Rarely did he admit he was wrong but often did he make choices when it came to others, to family in the heat of anger, failed with the deepest of paranoids delusions. They had come to terms as two dark figures in the night, but not as Bruce and Cassandra. All personal thoughts were pushed to the side on this mission. If he was right another kidnapping would take place tonight, for reasons unknown and if he could help it they would stop.
He found her hanging like the bat she claimed from a radio tower, swinging to keep her eyes across the city.
"Blackbat. Have you had a chance to review the intel?"
