I love how all of the horsemen are not people you would take seriously if they didn't have power. Like Makima with her pack of dogs giving each of her animals a different voice is weird. She would definitely be the type of person that would have commissioned pieces for each of her dogs and her whole personality would be that she's a dog mom. Nayuta is literally 13. No more needs to be said about that.

Yoru literally throws tantrums whenever things don't go her way and has a superiority complex when it comes to bragging about how much stronger she used to be compared to everyone else. She is the type of person that would spend hours power scaling with others and would definitely be pissed off if she realized someone knew more than her.

Death is the most serious one out of all of them but even she is comitted to helping with the school festival. She's the type of person to get kicked out of an all you eat buffet because she ate too much. She would defintely run a mukbang youtube channel. Seeing her eat weird ass combos of food would ruin anyone's appetite.

Fami is an anxious mess. She's just like Kobeni but she has an unreasonable amount of power. Even without knowing much about her, she seems like she would be the type talking about how this year is definitely the year the world will end, ignoring the fact she said that every year prior. She would be a part of a death cult.

And with 146, it all falls into place

So much of part 2 has finally clicked after this latest chapter. The reason behind the Chainsaw Man Church, the reason Fami approached Asa and Yoru, the Justice Devil's true identity... everything's definitely starting to make sense.

While I'm not entirely positive why fire can transform people (something to do with forging things in flame?), the fact that it gets more powerful the more people it transforms, in addition to being less controllable in greater numbers, definitely reflects wildfires. Maybe the transformation reflects how large scale fires transform landscapes and burn away the old and dead to make way for the new?

At any rate, the emphasis on marriage with the CSM Church now makes total sense, as it would ultimately be a form of contract stealthily made with the Fire Devil. With those numbers, Fami's true goal may be well within grasp.

And that's to kill the Death Devil!!! I guess anyone who was theorizing the eldest sister was already in the story was way off the mark, given that she's now (presumably) the big bad. Of course, this being Chainsaw Man I doubt it'll be that simple, but still. It also now makes total sense that Fami's been messing with Denji and Asa all along, as well as why Nayuta went along with most of it.

This is such a great way to shift the whole meaning of the story. Suddenly our two protagonists, who've been unknowingly at odds for so long, are the last hope to defeat Death. Heh, that's funny. Remember when Yoshida asked Denji if he could erase Death? I wonder what he's up to right-

Oh. OH. And Yoru is about to get a massive power boost from all that fear. Oh.

Well, RIP Octopus Boy. I'm not gonna lie, unless you have some way of escaping real fast, I don't think you're surviving this one.

War

Famine

And Plague or Pestilence???

Idk what's going on. It's causing me stress. Please explain????

The Next Primal Fear (Chp. 122 Spoilers)

In the next panel when we almost learned the name of the next primal fear devil and we are led to this couple sitting in their living room.

They were having a normal conversation about the man’s promotion when it takes a dark turn. This man and his s/o suddenly leave the living room and jumped off their balcony. It explains all the people who were standing on their balcony in the previous chapter. This couple was just one of the many people who suddenly decided to kill themselves.

Yoru deciding that this a fight that couldn’t win and running away is something new. Seeing her protecting Asa in the previous chapter and this is making her feel more and more human. And with all these people’s dead bodies joining up into one large creature and how scared Yoru is and the fact that Nayuta described the scent of the devil as the nastiest one she’s ever smelt is great build up to the death devil. I’m so excited to see everything that’s going to happen next with all four horsemen of the apocalypse. This is why Chainsaw Man is peak fiction.
