Anime Overview.
Name: Devil’s Line. デビルズライン [ 12 Episodes]
In a normal world, amongst normal humans live abnormal creatures/Vampires that are called Devils. Their existence is not a common knowledge but government knows about them and has special institution regulating their behavior. Making sure that they don’t snap and go on a killing spree. The story starts when Half-Devil Anzai Yuuki saves Taira Tsukasa from her long time friend, that is a devil, but loves her so he does everything he can to stay with her, but the desire gets too strong and he snaps. Anzai is working for government , fight against the devils that broke the law and killed human.
The thing is that Anzai is a Half devil himself and it gives him grate advantage doing his job, things change when he gets to know Tsukasa and starts developing feelings. (try not to)
Their meetings are becoming frequent and he even starts taking sedatives to keep his devil side in check but it’s not working well. Tsukasa knows Anzai’s true identity and they know the risk. still none of them can help but fall in love.
You might think she has some weird monster kink, but honestly she is just a lonely student. and he is always there for her, protecting her when needed and taking care of her.
He even tried to distance himself to make sure she doesn’t get hurt but it didn’t work out. She was already too deep in dark side.
When vampires lose control and go on demon mode, they no longer think straight and can hurt the people they love the most. but when it comes to Anzai, even on demon mode, he still holds Tsukasa as his first priority and has no intention to harm her. anyone but her.
It’s prohibited by law for demons to bite humans and anyone who tastes human blood goes through tough trial and isolated or killed. When Anzai gets hurt, Tsukasa gives him her blood to save his life, but in spite of the fact that Anzai didn’t bite her and was actually unconscious when it happened he still gets isolated. in spite of that Tsukasa wants to be with him and does everything to be allowed near him.
It’s not a masterpiece.... but it’s good to watch once if you are fan of romantic plots with vamps.
