I don't mean to laugh but qifrey getting drowned and then electrocuted, but still having to show up and teach the next morning sounds like some bs an actual elementary school teacher would casually mention to their students. Like sorry if I sound a little off today students but I almost died last night, but im all good now... did you finish your homework?
With that being said qifrey is the ultimate girl dad 🌸
He loves his weird daughters, when coco and qifrey yawned in sync I was like no dna test required you are the father<3
Fuck you Christopher Nolan and your inaccessible form of art.
I haven't read The Odyssey, but I know enough about the book to know that this is quite disappointing. It's entertaining until you realize that it doesn't delve deeply into anything. There are scenes where it's painfully obvious that Nolan wanted to pad out more than two hours of film (why tell me about the Trojan Horse when you could have used that time to explore the characters a bit more? Why show Odysseus on the steps of Troy four times?).
Besides, everyone except Robert Pattinson acts terribly. Stop shoving Tom Holland down our throats, thank you very much!!! I can't stand Anne Hathaway and her inability to show emotion. This should be Matt Damon's breakout role, but genuinely, no one delivers a good enough performance. No one shows intense, raw emotions that match everything they're going through.
There aren't any interesting shots, except for the Trojan horse on the beach, that shot is really cool. The rest are simple and don't evoke any emotion. The music is the same, it's always the same four beats during the sequences that are supposed to be exciting, period.
And I'm not mentioning the women in the film on purpose, because otherwise I will succumb to the rage and kill Christopher Nolan myself
This is just a total mess. Nolan should have retired after making Interstellar.
Also fuck every marvel fan who was at the queue at my cinema to see spiderman part 489 and didn't let me buy some goddamn popcorn for a three hour movie. I hope your favorite marvel character suffers a brutal death on doomsflop. (For my own safety everything I said in this last paragraph is an obvious joke and it mustn't be taken seriously, if I receive any backlash from this, I will not humor it and will be an instant block)

STEEL BALL RUN CHAPTERS 46 - 95 (manga)
Sugar Mountain arc. Just Sugar Mountain arc.
Whatever happened with Lucy made me go insane, I was so worried about that kid. I would very much appreciate if they stopped showing the nipple of a 14 year old, just a suggestion
Also, knowing more and more about Gyro is making me sick, he's too young for all the things he's doing
Hot Pants backstory omg!!! I knew she was a nun but I didn't expect her to be attacked by a whole ass grizzly bear what the fuck. That's so random sorry, it shocked me a little.
I loved Civil War stand, very tragic, I fucking hate Johnny's dad so much just kill him already.
The last arc was INSANE as always, D4C and Valentine were incredible, I loved how he manipulated Johnny so easily to made him think he's a good person.
And then Diego Brando and The World??? I wasn't expecting that at all, oh myyyyy. I do think that last part felt too rushed and almost unnecessary, but it was a cool cameo¿ if that's the proper way to call it.
I decided in my mind that Johnny would definitely win and that would be the reason he walks again (cause it was so obvious that he was going to) so I was surprised when Poccoloco of all people won. He lowkey added nothing to the plot, but he's cool I like him, would've loved to see more of his stand.
There are lots of things that feel rushed. Hot Pants?? What happened to her?? Why don't we know her real name?? Did she really die? And then Jesuschrist corpse ummm I wanted to see more of that, I also thought that Johnny would be able to walk again the moment he obtained the spine of the corpse but well.
And Gyro's death... so unnecessary, I cried. I knew he was going to die but STILL it HURTSSSSS he's my favorite, it was so easy to grow fond of him.
I can't wait for it to get animated and forget everything I read like it always fucking happens.

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN EP 160 - 243 (anime)
I love seeing Minato so much, I want to know EVERYTHING about him. Naruto's reaction when discovering that the Fourth Hokage is his father oh my godddd, I cried like a BABY. And when they made us believe that Kakashi was dead for like five episodes, I was going insane every episode where they didn't show him
I also love how, even now that he's dead, Naruto keeps calling Jiraiya, Pervy Sage, LIKE.
Sasuke is annoying me a little bit. He's gone CRAZY and I genuinely don't know how are they going to fix him. Naruto pls hurry up. They also have to stop doing Sakura so dirty, free my girl from male writers PLEASE
I decided to stop for a while because I was starting to get tired of them but I will continue it next month probably

LOOK BACK (movie)
I'm heartbroken. This was so utterly beautiful and even poetic. I knew one of them was dying, I didn't know which one but it hit me way harder than I expected. They show us how easily they build their friendship and how much they did together. They were really soulmates, they helped each other to face their insecurities and everything UGH
When they revealed the cause of death of Kyomoto I was so confused, the cause of death felt very vulgar for the tone of the story but I kinda understand why they chose that way.
What I didn't expect is that they showed us the what if and how everything lead to what happened was, in some fucked up way, really Fujino's fault. That was truly what broke me.
Amazing movie, amazing characters and development, but so so sad

FIRE PUNCH CHAPTERS 34 - 83 (manga)
It took me a long time but I finally finished whatever this was. I am speechless. The first chapters of this were amazingly uncomfortable, everything was so explicit and vulgar, I never thought it would turn so poetic towards the end.
It's 83 chapters of doom and despair, no one catches a break once and genuinely, Fujimoto does it in such a beautiful way that I can't even complain about suffering.
Once again the ending felt rushed. Something I've noticed is that manga/anime endings always feel very rushed for me, I don't know if it's my fault or if they're really that rushed. Either way, it was gorgeous as well.
I didn't fully understand some of the parts, but I think it was meant to be confusing and interpreted in different ways, so I'll just leave it be.
It's not something I would recommend ngl, I don't understand why my ex coworker recommended this to me but well, it does relaxes in sense of vulgarity around the middle.
Very nice read. It's never getting animated which is sad because there are some scenes that would look amazing animated. Sigh.

NEON GENESIS EVANGELION EP 1 - 8 (anime)
I am so disappointed with this. I chose this show to watch on my little break from Naruto because I heard amazing things about it, plus it's short. Everyone told me that it's very sad and confused but I can't get hooked to it. I feel they're doing the same thing all over: an angel attacks, Shinji goes into the Eva, he shouts and screams and then gets out of the Eva without doing anything.
I'm sorry but it's repetitive and lame. Maybe it's my fault for having high expectations, but I couldn't really pass episode 8 without falling asleep. At this point the plot should have some sort of shape and meaning, but nope, nothing.
I'll probably give it another try at some point, but now I'm not in the mood for this.

JOJOLION CHAPTER 1 - 41 (manga)
My first thought was that this is freaky as fuck! He appears naked, without memories and with not two, not three but FOUR testicles. I'm dying to see what explanation they give us to this.
The stands are cool as fuck, I love how their abilities become more and more complicated each time. I'm still trying to figure out how Josuke's stand works but well!
Oh and Yasuho. My pretty sweet girl I LOVE her, she's the best. She's funny, she's smart, she has good sense of style. Maybe she's a bit of a crybaby, but boy I don't give a FUCK.
The Higashikata family gives me terrible vibes. The dad specially, I don't like him or his children. They creep me out.
Also, why did they do Johnny SO dirty. He has one of the most awful deaths I've ever seen. What do you mean he died because a rock fell into his face, EXCUSE ME. That's Johnny fucking Joestar you canNOT killing him like that!!!

PHANTOM BUSTERS VOL. 6 (manga)
I've been buying and reading this volumes as they publish in Spanish, having the full collection and getting into a fandom early feels amazing icl.
I didn't enjoy this volume as much as the others, but that's only because I'm used to the group of four to be always the main plot, and in this chapters they gave more protagonism to other characters.
Korekishi is still my favorite, he's so polite and cute, I love him so much. Also Mamoru is so aesthetically pleasing, not only he's hot as fuck, but he's outfits are always incredible.

GOKURAKUGAI VOL. 1 (manga)
I have the two first volumes of the manga in physical and I finally sat down to read them, this was so fun! The character designs are amazing, Alma is such a cute protagonist (also, fun fact, but Alma means soul in spanish and it's also used as a name here, but is a woman's name!). And Ms. Tao what a WOMAN OH MY GOD !!!! She's so cool and mysterious, I might even write for her.
The whole plot is very very interesting, also hilarious that the terrible demon-like monsters are called Maga, it really is the cherry on top.
I can't wait to read more about them, I'm picking up the next volumes at my comic book store for sure!

WITCH HAT ATELIER CHAPTERS 1 - 60 (manga)
After finishing the anime I needed to pick this up and oh my god! Thank god that I did! The art is gorgeous and the story just keeps getting more and more interesting.
I knew since the beginning of the anime that there's something going on with Qifrey and I still don't trust that motherfucker, the looks he gives from time to time are so creepy. Seeing him without an eye and how they found him made me a little sad, but still, I need to know what happened to his memories. Oh and what he does to Olruggio??? How many times has he erased his memories, oh my god!
Euini's arc made me so sad, he was such a cute kid and didn't deserve what's happening to him.
Oh and Beldaruit. What the fuck. He's gorgeous for some reason and It's making me nervous. How can he be so pretty and so powerful.
I was so excited to see queer couples representation casually, but of course, they had to make them doomed. Genuinely, I'm getting tired that the only way we get our representation is by making us suffer. That's a minus star from me.
Still, this arc is looking good. I didn't expect for Custas to be so important for the plot, I genuinely didn't care about that kid and now he's getting on my nerves. Same with Coco, just talk to a trusted adult. Just talk to a fucking adult. Qifrey is right fucking there man
Obviously Agott is my fav for the kids.

HAIKYU!! SEASON 2 - 4 (anime)
I watched the first season a few months ago and I really didn't enjoy it, not the biggest fan of sports anime but well, I gave this a second time because I have a few close friends that loved it a lot. And yeah it's good! It's really good and fun, the characters are amazing and the backstories are fine. I don't like how long the matches end up being, ten episodes to show the match between Karasuno and Shiratorizawa is so unnecessary, I don't care about the strategy or how the set, spike or whatever. So that part was very tiring.
Still, just like Blue Lock, the characters are cool. I love Bokuto and Kuroo, Ushijima was also cool. It's cute to see how every character has a duo. The animation is fine, I guess, the change in season 4 was so ugh, I didn't like it at all (specially Sugawara, he looks like a total different person).
It's a nice show after all, you end up loving the characters and wanting to watch more. It didn't change my life but I enjoyed it

MOB PSYCHO 100 SEASON 1 (anime)
Oh it's amazing, it's so amazing. It reminds me a lot to Saiki K, but it's completely different. Mob is a cutie, I love him and how respectful he is, he also reminds a lot to Okarun from Dandadan, specially when he goes crazy, with the hair and all.
Reigen is INCREDIBLE AGGHH I knew I was going to love him from the moment he was introduced. He's a scammer in someway but he has principles, man, and he's quite sweet to Mob, in the last episode of season 1, when he snaps Mob out of it, ugh so sweet. Reigen is also like 75% fan service, I knew it after two minutes of screen time, he's a total slut.
The rest of the characters are fine, I don't really care about them except Mob's little brother, he's also a very cute boy.
One of the best things is that one character who looks just like Josuke from JoJo's. I already started season 2

DEMON SLAYER: INFINITY CASTLE (movie)
Whoever says that there's too many flashbacks can just shut up and LEAVE. I waited a whole year to see this because I was dumb enough to not watch it in cinemas. And oh my god the wait was worthy, everything from the animation, to the music and the voice acting is insane. I fell in love with this anime because of the vibrant colors and cool character designs, and this movie keeps it just like that. The Upper Moons are so intriguing and such perfect villains.
Akaza's backstory broke my heart exactly how I thought it would, I find so heartbreakingly beautiful how he spends half of his dialogues saying how much he hates weak people, only for then to discover that he was in love with the weakest of them.
I also read the whole manga before this so I can't wait for the next movie to come out, specially for Genya and Kokushibo, who's a far more interesting villain than Muzan.

am i overthinking or does the way levi didn’t cover his eye mean something 🤔
So in the end of Attack on Titan, we see Levi with his eye gone and what struck me is that he never covers it. No eyepatch, no attempt to hide it. Meanwhile, Hange also lost her eye earlier in the series, and she did wear one.
At first I thought maybe it’s just a design choice or a different kind of injury, BUT the more I think about it, the more it feels intentional. Hange’s eyepatch fits her. She’s inventive, adaptive, always turning damage into something functional or even expressive. She builds around her wounds.
Levi, on the other hand, doesn’t build around them. He just lives with them. There’s no need to hide, no need to fix. For him, the scar isn’t something to disguise - it’s just another part of reality. He’s a man who’s stopped pretending that pain needs to look neat.
And that’s kind of Levi’s whole essence: endurance without display.
He doesn’t cover what’s broken; he carries it. Quietly, practically, without sentiment.
So maybe it’s not about the eyepatch at all - it’s about what each of them does with pain.
Hange transforms hers.
Levi accepts his.
❓What do you think - am I overthinking it, or does that small detail actually say everything about who they are?
Go For It, Nakamura! Episode 10 Review - All Anime Original
Wow, this episode is completely anime original! None of the contents shown are from the manga! I’m amazed! I feel like the anime studio took a lot of risks to make an completely anime original episode and I think they did a good job having all of them stay in character while also bringing out new information for characters we don’t really see that often.
One of the best things about this episode is that Nakamura is actually treated well this time around. He doesn’t get punished for his actions as often as he does in previous episodes. Hirose includes him in his friend group and he’s mostly treated well, except for the part where Takeuchi spits out his drink at him. It was honestly nice learning new information about the other characters like how they’re just boys. Some of them like games. Hirose likes certain bands and will only listen to them if he’s hooked. Takeuchi is mostly girl crazy as he mostly watches a drama for a female actress. It kind of shows that Nakamura is doing his best to try and fit in, but isn’t treated weirdly for that. I honestly like that. I honestly like that the most common ground the boys’ friend group has is that they all like to roast Takeuchi in some way. A few things that we learn about Nakamura in this episode is that he likes drinking coffee instead of soda like the other boys. Hirose isn’t too fond of black coffee himself.
The second half of the episode mostly revolves around Love-Ben getting an anime adaptation and Nakamura traveling to another city for a signing event. If it’s possible, I’d honestly love to see an actual anime of Love-ben! The premise feels crazy! Sometimes, I think the fictional stories in these fictional stories feel like they can work as actual stories like Flower Princess Blaze in My Dress-up Darling. I think the one good thing about the episode is that Nakamura is finally seen wearing something other than his school uniform. While he’s not the most fashionable guy out there, it’s still nice seeing him wear casual clothes.
Kawamura and her friends get some spotlight in this episode as Kawamura also got a ticket for the signing event; Hamaoka and Okuda tagged along so that they can go to animate and buy goods while she goes to the book signing. It’s honestly really interesting to see the major differences between a boy’s friend group and a girl’s. Unlike the boys where they all have a mutual frustration towards Takeuchi, the girls all equally love each other. While Okuda did make Kawamura be the one to order the food at the collab cafe, it’s not out of malice. Also, whoever designed the girls’ fits need a raise because all three of them were looking like divas.
It’s also nice to finally see Kawamura and Nakamura solidifying their friendship. While Kawamura still has a crush on him, she still found joy in talking about their favorite BL manga together and doesn’t seem to think Nakamura is weird for liking it; in fact, she already knew since she’d see him reading it during lunch breaks. While I don’t ship them romantically, I like seeing them together. Also, I’m a bit surprised the author of Love-ben is a man; not that it’s weird, but it’s usually because BL authors are usually women—then again, I can’t be too sure on that since they like to keep a low profile. Kometani-sensei is voiced by Shunsuke Sakaya who voiced Simon Blackquill in Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies and Graf Granat in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.
I think what surprised me the most was that Niou has a crush on another teacher that’s not Otogiri. I guess it’s because this is a BL story that I was expecting a side pair in a way. You know, for a BL story…there’s not many gay people in this one. The only canonically gay people in this story are Nakamura and Matsumura. Still, I do find it interesting how Niou has some parallels with Nakamura in that both have black hair and both have a thing for soft and fluffy brunets. Niou is usually a stickler for rules and such, but the moment he sees the teacher voiced by Ai Kayano, he turns as red as Nakamura does when he’s around Hirose. I wonder if that’s the reason Niou seems to have a soft spot for Nakamura.
Now, I’m curious if the next episode will also be anime original. I think there are 12 episodes in this anime and there’s still one manga character who hasn’t made her anime debut yet. I just hope the fanbase doesn’t go crazy when she appears because she’s a rather sweet girl who just unfortunately happened to be in a BL manga. Anyways, let me know your thoughts on this episode!
