Man, I forget how heartbreaking Carter's death is in this show. But the episode itself and the opening scene in the next episode is so good. Do you by any chance know which episode of person of interest the "sad wet terminator episode" was?

I for sure do! It's S03E10, "The Devil's Share," any description of which would contain probably the single biggest spoiler in the entire show.

but GOD ITS FUCKING GOOD. i mean its so fucking good. the characterisation of every single person in that episode is fucking incredible. I MEAN SERIOUSLY YOU CAN'T EVEN KNOW. I WISH I COULD EXPLAIN.

As a kid, James remembered his father talking about “the quagmire” and, not knowing what that meant, finding a dictionary. A soft boggy area of land that gives way underfoot. That was the feeling. A literal sinking feeling. Quick sand in every personal, cultural metaphor he could conjure up.

Every year, he felt the mud rise against his legs. Every year, one more where he couldn’t leave.

The Devil’s Share study #1

I initially grabbed 10 screencaps from 3x10 and planned to do studies of them and post them all together but I’m growing increasingly frustrated with how little time I have for drawing so I decided to just post this. I have another painting sitting in my drafts but I’d like to complete its tie-in painting before posting it.

The Devil’s Share is my absolute favourite of the entire series in regards to pure aesthetics and visuals. Also as sad as it was, Reese’s destructive grief was so well portrayed and it’s something that stuck with me.
