Around My Game: The Devines
Today the Devines went to the doctor’s office. Having settled into their new life, it was once again time for their annual physical. They took Jasmine along with them and called Jaimie to watch Jasper so that they could go out to eat after their checkup. As expected, everyone’s health was in tiptop shape...except Jarrod’s! Surprisingly, Jarrod was found to have high blood pressure.
It took him by surprise, he ate the same things as his wife and sister, and was relatively active. The only thing that they could think would cause this was the stress revolving his internship, his finances, and providing for his family. Jarrod had been holding on to more stress than he knew, and perhaps it was time to take up so more relaxing pastimes and passing off some of the pressure to those around him. Hopefully by the time he goes for another checkup, his blood pressure is controlled and he doesn’t have to rely on medication. It was unfortunate news, but at least he now knew what he needed to do!
