Jane stares off into the distance, staring out of her houses window... She had come back to her cabin to get some supplies before going to get Firebrand and Illumina from their parents.

She froze when seeing a certain figure...

Her first born... Her first baby... mangled and twisted.

She shook her head. Panic seeping into her body as the mangled, rotted, burnt flesh approched.

"ₘₒₘ?"

"ₘₒₘ?"

"wₕₑᵣₑ wₑᵣₑ yₒᵤ…"

Her baby spoke to her, her sweet.. she can't even remember their gender... her child... oh her baby...

"Wₕy dᵢdₙ'ₜ yₒᵤ ₛₐᵥₑ ₘₑ?"

Jane backed away more and more as her child put their bloodied and rotted hands against the window. An eldritch liquid seeped through their fingers and like their blood dripped down.

"ₚₗₑₐₛₑ.."

Jane stood frozen staring at the darkened forest as the body slams its rotting face into the window, a sickening quick squishing splat can be heard. the bones being so weak... were their even bones now?

Jane covered her face with her hands quiet whines and sobs escaping her mouth as her child continued to try and enter via force. Each sickening squash felt like a gut punch.

Smiles... that sick being... keeping them alive but rotting for all of eternity...

Jane has to remind herself that its no longer them...

they've been long gone...

Jane turns around before freezing, seeing Mafioso standing there in the dim hall, holding John's photo...
