Repotting day for my ficus, who’s been doing fine but was definitely starting to get root bound in his already tiny pot. Was very happy to see some white roots when I pulled him out- hopefully a good sign for this repotting.

Did anybody else read “The Empty Pot” by Demi when they were younger? I always felt very inspired by the illustrations, and the lesson that sometimes what you think will be easy doesn’t work out but that doesn’t mean it was for nothing. (:

One of my teacher friends texted me a picture. One of her students was watching Rami reading "The Empty Pot" at home with her parents. She told her parents how much she loves it!
