today I helped repot some plants at the house and, as a thanks for our help, they gave us the pots to paint and let us take them home with the flowers 🪴🎨🌼

I haven't finished them yet, but they let me borrow the paints to take home so I can finish them

I'm up cycling a broken square ice mold that I found. It will be the home for a watercress cutting that I split into two parts to fill both sides.

Still trying to find out what makes watercress happy. I haven't had much luck germinating seeds. It seems that it likes to be propagated from cutting.

Repotted my little epi today. It's an epipremnum pearls and jade. I got it few week ago, it was potted in moss. Turns out it has big roots so I couldn't repot in the same small pot, luckily I had a bigger plastic container. I also didn't bring enough potting mix, so I did a weird mix with moss and some leca. Hope it'll be fine. It's very cute little plant and I love the variegation on its leaves.

Well the sun is out so I am not in the sewing room as planned. I have been out in the potting shed repotting my Hoya Minibell. I need to water the rest of my plants now and do a little reshuffle to fit this beauty into a bigger space. Not sure where that space will be but time will tell.

So, my plant dries out too fast, drops a lot of leaves, I guess he migth be a bit root bound. Let's check that.

Hm.. let's take the plant out of the pot and look at those roots.

Yep, this should be repoted. Do I have bigger pot? Yes? Then let's make a quick and eas... wait a second.

Oh god.

Oh crap. What did I get myself into.

This did not go smoothly at all, especially after the support stick broke. I was never sweating so much before.

So anyway, he is angry but alive. Looks like shit at the moment, I still have to fix the support, but I need to rest now.

This aloe had been in the same pot for 5 years! It's the most rootbound plant I've ever seen. Breaking the roots up was one hell of a job.

It's now in a bigger pot with plenty of perlite and pumice, and we're hoping to slowly introduce better light so new growth stops being so etiolated.
