In the first book it's noted one of the brothers who claimed land, griffon, or dragon, harnessed the power of the sky to defeat the brother of the land with great sacrifice. What kills wyvern and venin? Lightning, which also happens to come from the sky
I also think the first six each had one of the original dragons, including an irid who decided to leave after the war once it saw what humans could do with dragon magic.
How it all connects rn with isles as well? Idk. Too little is know about the brothers, the isles, the First Six, and the Empyrean to make an accurate guess.
Trying to work out my list of who i think the most powerful signets/First Six parallels are and this is what I’ve got so far:

3. Aaric (precognition)
4. Garrick (distance wielding)

6. ???
I think the following people are big possibilities:
1. Dain: he’s a memory reader, but part of the epigraph talking about these Big Six Most Powerful signets was “manifested concurrently with an equal.” Xaden and Violet are a pair with shadows and lightning, and that part has me thinking Dain could be part of the 6 because I’m so sure Aaric is one. And what’s the opposite of precognition? RETROcognition. What does Violet call Dain’s signet in Fourth Wing? Retrocognition
2. Imogen: it’s mentioned that there’s literally never been an earth-wielder recorded ever and that’s probably her second signet. (i say probably because i have a theory about it actually being alchemy)
3. Rhiannon: Violet says in Fourth Wing that a summoning signet hasn’t been seen in a century. the epigraph says something like “the most powerful signets, those seen once in a generation or CENTURY.” She could also arguably be the equal/opposite to Garrick’s distance wielding with the whole “go away/bring it back” idea
4. Sloane: I’m not sure it’s ever explicitly stated but it seems siphons are very rare, and we don’t really know much about what a siphoning signet really IS. it always sounds really similar to venin channeling honestly so I’m curious what the distinction could be and I think it’ll be important
5. Mira: we haven’t heard of anyone else be able to create their own wards, and it’s already proven useful when fighting venin
6. Brennan: there’s definitely numerous menders in service right now, but Brennan is always said to be especially gifted. He seems less likely to me though cause it’s the six most powerful “signets” not necessarily riders, so seems like those 6 would be one and done deals
7. Bodhi: we haven’t heard of anyone else being able to counter signets and this seems like a HUGE DEAL. and it would really throw a wrench in this war if we potentially have two of these 6 powerful signets turned venin. (could also be applicable to Garrick, but I really think the new venin brother is Bodhi). I also think there’s no way that his signet doesn’t work on venin like Violet concludes. I lean more toward the theory that he has to know the signet to counter it, and they all thought Theophanie was a lightning wielder instead of a storm wielder
8. No one kill me….Lynx: little dude is the new shadow wielder. there’s a possibility Xaden doesn’t even qualify as one of these First Six parallels anymore but I’m not ready to unpack that so frankly I’m just gonna ignore it :)
there’s TOO MANY people with uber powerful signets so frankly it makes me SO CURIOUS which ones are actually the fulcrum points of this new great war
also, would these 6 most powerful signets all have venin counterparts with the exception of Violet? cause that could shake up the standings too
