• THE FLAGS AGE SPECULATIONS PT. 2 •

I believe Pianoman, Iceman and Doc are all in very similar age and here is why.

Since all of The Flags are at the ripe age of 25 or younger and the Pianoman is told to be the oldest, he’s exactly 25 years old. The next one in line is Iceman, but we don’t get any hints about his age besides being the second oldest.

BUT

My man Doc got a Doctorate of Medical Sciences in North America. First of all, how cool is that? Second thing - Doctorate takes a shit ton of time to complete. There is no precise time brackets on how long you have to study in order to attain it, but it’s safe to assume 7 years is an absolute minimum (4 years medical school, 3 years residency). Later on, there had to be some time between graduating and getting into the shady mafia part of Japan.

Even if we assume he graduated from high school early (at 17 years old), 17 + 7 = 24. To my mind it’s the most ”optimistic scenario” in which everything went smoothly and he ended the education with the degree asap.

To sum up;

Pianoman is 25 (given in the Stormbringer)

Iceman as the second oldest is either 25 (the difference of few months apart in age) or 24.

Doc, even if he was speedrunning the medical career has to be either 24 or older (but still younger than Iceman).
