things i actually like about stranger things s3 because it isnt a lot
robin, and her and steve’s friendship. the coming out scene is quite good
max and el becoming friends (though I have some issues on how that was written at times)
el losing her powers. s4 may have fucked up this arc imo but it stopped her from becoming a one note character while it lasted, and storylines about discovering who you are after losing something you have built a great deal of your identity around are always a good set up. I hope she loses them permanently in the final season, ala Ed in FMAB
the shaky cam work
lucas being a bamf as always, and the fireworks were a very visually compelling part of the final ep
the whole battle of starcourt is visually appealing and the pacing with the groups coming together and how they switch between the characters is well done, and it becomes less goofy and starts taking the characters seriously again so there are actually emotional stakes
