RWBY Volume 6 Finale Spoiler But I Don’t Give Any Context
Best of 2025 - TV
A few disappointments, but mostly positive experiences. Recently I noticed I'm avoiding many shows, I don't know about you, but sometimes I'm just not interested in a second season. For example Gen V. Tried to get into it again as I liked the first one, but I just couldn't. Happens to all of us, I guess.
01. The Newsreader - Season 3.
02. Big Boys - Season 3.
03. Hacks - Season 4. - "One of the best things about Hacks Season 4 is how focused the first half of it is, as the Deborah and Ava feud gets time to breathe and be thoroughly explored. Creators Lucia Aniello, Jen Statsky, and Downs smartly don’t rush the process of their reunion — a risk that pays off in spades. Hacks is, of course, first and foremost a comedy, but it shines brightest when it leans into the dramatic beats, too. The conflict between Deborah and Ava is arguably the meatiest arc this show has ever done, and Smart and Einbinder both make absolute meals of it." - Collider
04. Dying for Sex - Miniseries
05. Suspect: The Killing of Jean Charles de Menezes - Miniseries
06. Blue Lights - Season 3.
07. Black Mirror - Season 7.
08. Somebody Somewhere - Season 1-3 - "There is a telltale colour palette to comedies like this, washed out and pale, a sign that the comedy label should be in inverted commas. Like Better Things, Work in Progress and Mrs Fletcher, this is more “if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry” than slapstick-punchline, laugh-track funny; anyone expecting a straightforward gag may need to look elsewhere. Everett plays Sam as lost and weary. She has a morbidly silent job marking exam papers, and the closest person to her now is her niece, Shannon, much to the dismay of Shannon’s mother. The first episode involves some scene-setting: Sam’s mother drinks too much, and her surviving sister is a pressure-cooker of emotions. Life is not so bad that it is harrowing, but the monotony is wearing Sam down. When Sam meets Joel at work, a hint of brightness begins to return to her life." - The Guardian
09. The Diplomat - Season 3 & 4.
10. The Pitt - Season 1.
11. Overcompensating - Season 1.
12. Juice - Season 2.
13. Alien: Earth - Season 1.
14. The Change - Season 2.
15. Eric - Miniseries
16. 3 Body Problem - Season 1.
17. The Last of Us - Season 2.
18. On Call - Season 1.
19. Dark Matter - Season 1.
20. I, Addict - Miniseries - "Starring an impressive Oriol Pla in probably his best performance to date, the series tells the story of the protagonist’s downturn and the difficult recovery, healing and reconciliation with himself, who, after a long process of detoxification, managed to get out of the hell of drug and alcohol addiction. He starts off by portraying himself as someone with a clearly narcissistic, egocentric and despot behaviour and delving into some of the darkest episodes of his life. This is one of the great successes of the series, because from here Giner manages to go much further and discuss everything that lies behind this person who we initially might have disliked; his deep sadness and loneliness, self-destruction, dissatisfaction, emptiness, obsessions, deficiencies and unresolved (often inherited) traumas, hidden behind that appearance, and, with it, of the masks we all wear, of the crises we often carry and that we almost never know how to manage until they explode, we decide to ask for help or they stay locked inside us forever. Because as one revealing episode says, at its heart, the story is not about drugs or about oneself, but about learning to live, to live with any kind of addiction, illness or trauma." - Cineuropa
21. The Night Agent - Season 2.
22. Am I Being Unreasonable? - Season 2.
23. The Devil's Hour - Season 2.
24. National Treasure: Kiri - Miniseries
25. Down Cemetery Road - Season 1.
26. Playing Nice - Miniseries - "Ultimately it’s not an intellectual drama or even that intelligent. But it is thrilling, and serves up some moments of properly nail-biting tension, as well as jaw-locking fury. Miles might not be the most complex villain, but he’s surely one of the most infuriating to grace our screens recently. Watch and seethe." - Evening Standard
27. Adults - Season 1.
28. Dept. Q - Season 1.
29. Fisk - Season 3.
30. Boots - Miniseries

From cutesy bubble pop to manicured dirty indie: The Hacks discuss what pushed them to make the shift and how they navigated their way out of the big machine
by Riley Reynolds
It’s an early afternoon on a sunny Saturday. Summer in LA is hitting hard, relieved only by the Santa Monica sea breeze that occasionally hits the outdoor table where I’m sat waiting for the last of the Hackley…
