I'm sort of not surprised Wanderer didn't- or I would be surprised to learn she did- but do you think most souls have things they've brought with them from planet to planet?

Like Sunny having things she brough form the Mist's planet, or Burns from Fire World?

Like knick-knacks from their life there, or even just a rocks they picked last up last minute as a souvenir, because how do you live a whole life-possibly infinite lives- somewhere and then, knowing you're about to cross the galaxy maybe leave the galaxy, anot want to take something with you? Or many things.

Wanda doesn't seem like a person who gets attached to object, material things, so it toally in characters, but I wish we'd gotten a moment of her looking over an objest from another planet, musing on it, comparing her thoughts on it to Mel's, and just expanding on lore.

I think with Kathy would have worked best, it gives Wanda something to fidget with, for her nerves, reveal what planets Kathy might have come from or want to go to, be a general conversation starter, considering talking is a big part of her job.

Or another of Wanda's lectures, maybe have her students do presentations on whatever planet, and those who have been there, bring things they have.

Like i know the book was scifi for those who dont like scifi, but i like LORE.

Okay but was the sequel "the seeker" suposed to be about the seeker we know from the first book? Like a midnight sun type thing, our her waking up on another planet knowing she's forever too late to stop the humans and she'll probably never truly know what happened???

Or would it be have been a new seeker we meet along the way (my theory is Burns Living Flowers. I have almost no basis for this, I have just decided not to trust him until a published book contradicts me)??
