The Hostiles, "Late Nights and Early Hours" EP Review
With their newest EP, “Late Nights And Early Hours”, The Hostiles seem to have finally found the perfect way to blend together their disorderly mix of punk, ska and distinctive vocals. In a scene in which it’s easy for ska/punk bands to all sound alike, these lads have managed to find their own definitive signature with the Barron brother’s vocals. They’re exactly what a skaish band should sound like, with melody to their sounds rather than gruff shouting, the music is infectious with lyrics to follow suit. It’s upbeat and chill all at the same time, with brass that perfectly compliments their warped guitar and bass. This EP is what would happen if Reel Big Fish and old school Less Than Jake had a baby that took the best parts of both of them. I urge you to grab it now from http://hostileska.bigcartel.com/
Episode 3x20 (Hostiles)
Who are The Hostiles? In a flashback to when Ben is a child on the island, we see and hear something that sounds a lot like the mysterious "thing" of The Island. (Black Smoke, The Man in Black, etc.) Annie tells Ben that it is The Hostiles. Who are they? If this is the Black Smoke why did Juliet react like she had never experienced it earlier.
Episode 3x20 (Ben & Richard)
Why did they kill off the Dharma Initiative? Ben explained to Locke that it was because "The Hostiles" couldn't get along with them but I don't remember ever actually seeing more about this.
