okay so i know that Paint By Numbers is about being in the public eye, and god is it incredible and i love it so much, its one of my favs on the album

HOWEVER

"It's a lifetime of learnin' to paint by the numbers And watching the colours run"

is such beautiful imagery for lgbtq folks

learning to act a certain way, to keep the colors inside the right shapes, and no matter what you do it all ends up mixing together into the rainbow you're not supposed to be, but you cant help it if the colours run

Expedition 33 is one of the best video games that has come out in years. The exploration of grief as a consuming thing. Trying to keep a loved ones memory alive at the expense of others. It's about the two most traumatized 16yr olds to ever exist and them turning out to be the same person, becoming the reigning champion of traumatized 16yr olds. It's about love and friendship and trying your hardest to make a better future for those who come after. It's about it not being enough. It's about compassion in the face of hopelessness. it's about the balance of "wee" and "woo."
