My favorite band loves me.

And here is the proof noone asked for:

I arrived at the venue about 1-2h before doors opening because I wanted to do front row and they are not a huge band. And somewhen the drummer came out to get something from the van and saw me and was like "hi ronja." and let me tell ya I was SHOOK that he remembered my name. I mean, he better do bc I got his handwriting tattooed but yeahr

Then during the show they got some fans up on stage INCLUDING ME for a dance and singalong. And I was soooo happy. After the gig I talked to their photographer (who is pretty cool, we are facebook friends) and asked him to please not do me dirt and post a nice picture. And he was like "I tried. I think it looks pretty good. You seemed very happy when you were on stage singing along with [the drummer]." Hell, I was.

Then I went to their merch dtation, because the rapper is selling it himself. They are really small you see? And I was the last person to be there and he was like "hi ronja! I haven't seen you in sooo long! Man, it's been a while. How have you been doing? What is going on in life?" and we had a full on conversation. I then tild him that I was surprised he even remembered me/my name and he straight up said "I could never forget you."

We talked about how we are feeling and I told him that I thought I catched the flue or something and am just gonna be dead tomorrow and he was like "okay then I will not get too close to you........... Okay, fuck it, come here for a cuddle."

Then I showed him the second tattoo I got related to one of their songs and the meaning behind it. He asked me to send him a photo of it onn twitter so he could save it and told me it is probs the best one he has seen get of a fan getting, because of how individual it was. Shots fired to my two friends who got their ep cover tattooed, he literally straight up referred to that.

The drummer gave me the set list and the rapper was like "if you want to come to another show, let me know I will put you on the guestlist." and we took a picture together with the guitarrist which was my first full-band pic after knowing them for 1 1/2 years.

I don't even know how I have not been crying happy tears about it yet. I am the happiest girl alive.

Frontman Kerr Okan explains that ‘Up‘...is about that feeling of optimism [...] It’s for the people who have taken a good few on the chin but refuse to go down. This was the easiest song I’ve ever written.’

So either go big or go home, ‘cos The LaFontaines are making their own way...

These two days were the best of my life.

Jamie wrote out the lyrics of All Gone for me so I could get 'Wondering Heart' tattooed. I got the tattoo the day after and he was so amazed. He literally just stared at it and was like "Wow, I don't know what to say" and said Thank You like 50 times.

By the time we had the conversation we had already queued outside for two hours at night time in the freezing cold, rainy weather of Hamburg. Jamie asked if any of us four were cold and since I had been shaking for like the whole time I answered positive. He then offered me to wear his jacket. Wow. I call this the best moment of my life. I ended up wearing it for almost three hours while he went back into the venue.

Jamie is truly one of the most kind hearted and amazing persons I know. I love him with all of my heart.
