Need people from Rhode Island

The comic that I've been posting about, The Left Path, is a comic that I'm writing. It's set in Rhode Island, specifically Barrington, Bristol County. I do not live in Rhode Island, so I don't know too much about it. I want to here YOUR stories (nothing personal)— folklore, common sayings, places that everyone calls one thing even though it hasn't been that thing for years, etc.

Many help is greatly appreciated!! I'm SOOOO excited to get this thing on the road!

I just want to real quick explain how to navigate through the chapters/pages. It will be formatted like "a.b". (A) will be substituted for a number, and will represent the chapter number. (B) will also be substituted for a number, and will represent the page number. So, "2.6" is representative of "Chapter 2, Page 6" but "2.60" is "Chapter 2, Page 60". Hope this helps!
