The Lizard Den's Halloween event has started! You don't want to know how long that crate took...
There are 6 adopts up right now, so check it out. There will be some more later this month as well. I'm super excited for this, Mint Chip made some absolutely wonderful designs for this <3 And eventually I'll get something up that will be an opportunity to get yourself a free custom c:

Also, if anyone is interested in being staff on The Lizard Den, check out the thread (Extras section) I'm taking applications right now for 1-2 people to help out. This is a really relaxed thread, so staff do not have any specific jobs. Archiving, coding, moderating, any or all of those are open to any thread staff along with anything else the thread might need. The only thing I'm restricting is designing, I'm currently going to be the only one doing that until further notice.
And I'm also still looking for a species name, I have a little contest going on, if you win you get cool prizes like a fully custom lizard baby. (but hey if you don't want it for whatever reason I'm totally happy just sending you pets. I really need a name.) Thats also on the thread, in the more obvious Events and Contests section.
And before I stop bothering you about these things, I am more then happy to take suggestions on what varieties I should make available next, color pallets, ect stuff like that. If you'd like to suggest any of that stuff please let me know on the thread, I'd very much like to make things available that people are actually interested in.

Oh and I need a name for them and I'm no good at doing that myself, so I'm probably gonna hold some kind of contest and the winner can get a custom (btw I'm really slack with these so a custom could be pretty much anything you want) Is that something anyone would be interested in?
I've been wanting to do adopt designs lately that are more laid back then normal oekaki adopts so I can kinda do things at my own pace, and also because I'd love to have some more freedom with line edits >o< but I finally decided to go ahead and actually do it. This is really just made to be small and not some big complex thing. Just a simple forum pixel pet species. I'll add some basic varieties to them and maybe add some more complex things later. But I'm not the kind of person who pumps out 20 designs at once so it will probably be more of a 'make one or two when I have free time' thing.
The thread isn't anywhere near done yet, but I put it up and put up the art I have done already and what I plan to do. Once I get around to finishing the basic stuff I'll make a couple banners or something and open the thread.
If your interested in taking a peek, they are small lizard adopts, and I'll be animating all of them in my usual simple bounce animation as I normally do with my pixel stuff.
Also if anyone would like to help me out real quick, I'd love to hear what you think of the example with scales on the thread. I'm not sure if they are too difficult to see/don't look enough like scales. I'd love to know what you think since its really my first time trying to do scales shading with pixel art.
