mainly we have. the lizther which you know. you know what it looks like but it's probably bigger now than last time. like a marine iguana but huge and with fishlike webbing and a square head and more reptilian eyes

we also have the giant octopus thing which is like. it's huge right it eats whales but it's not as big as the lizther. important thing about this one is is looks actually dead and zombified like it's gross and rotting and it has weird spines too

you know about the giant goblin shark/oarfish creature no in depth description yet

also have. giant spider crab and giant sea scorpion and northern stargazer inspired monsters. maybe more idk

also lots and lots of parasitic creatures which were caught up in the experiments nileao was doing to the creatures and now they're giant and violent too (flukes, lice, worms etc and remoras also). these are what teagan is best at fighting

i would ask isther 8 but i already know it is in a wet cardboard box all alone

haii so where does isther sleep? well once she was freed from. the ground. she would sleep curled up in the crevices (usually eye sockets) of monsters in the cave prison thing. I'm debating adding to her backstory that she used to occasionally sleep in the bbl's mouth. then once she's freed from the prison cave she usually sleeps in ane's tent or later in her own

can you explain the deep dark and why isther is there. why did they put her there. how does she talk to the monsters. is it the same as the deep dark from minecraft.

ok so the deep-dark (rename pending) is this massive cave underneath the capital city. you used to be able to access it through a system of small caves at the bottom of the ravine behind Enith’s house but then they sealed it up. Isther is there because Alsinth (the previous monarch, Anemone/Calen's mother) put her there:

during the monster attacks 15 years ago Alsinth and Iolanthe’s father (tbn) were trying to find a way of stopping the attacks and they started theorising that maybe someone was controlling the monsters. they did a whole investigation themselves (Alsinth didn't want anyone else to know because if they did find the person controlling the attacks people would've demanded a genuine public execution) and eventually they found Isther’s parents who were complaining to various magic authorities that their daughter cried/screamed with a very screechy Chorus but being told that wasn't how magic manifested. Io's father and Alsinth monitored Isther for a bit and realised yep whenever she cries/screams a monster starts attacking. so they kidnapped Isther and told her parents that she'd died in a monster attack. and Alsinth was all for privately teaching Isther to control her power but Io's father had lost his wife in a previous monster attack so he said "we need to kill her Allie" but Alsinth is like. number one pacifist and also an idiot so she says okay compromise we'll remove her completely from the world so she won't have anything to cry about and she won't be anyone's problem anymore. I'm so tired. so they put her and the monsters into the deep-dark and seal it up. they also give her her iconic neck/wrist/caudal penduncle restraints which I would love to talk about more but I shan't rn. and they leave her there to die in the silence and cold and dark. and all the monsters go kinda dormant but the smaller ones find food for her and eventually she can get food herself. mostly gross crab tbh. and 15 years passed

she doesn't really talk to the monsters more. tells them what to do by instinctive screaming. though the bbl does listen to her thoughts more.

I mean it is kinda like the minecraft deep dark if you consider the bbl the warden
